Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
All engaged drivers at today’s meeting were subjected to rapid antigen tests being supervised by the Stewards prior to fulfilling their drives.
RACE 1 – VISITORS WELCOME 2YO WESTBRED PACE (2130MS)
IMA AUSSIE ARTIST (D. Roberts) - Hung inwards racing in the front straight on the final occasion placing its driver at a disadvantage fully testing the colt in the straight.
RACE 2 – KUNUNOPPIN 3YO WESTBRED PACE (1730MS)
REMOVE ALL DOUBT (D. Harper) - Broke gait shortly after the start was affected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.
TAKETHECANNOLI (J. Suvaljko) - Inconvenienced shortly after the start. Over raced through the middle stages of the event.
BARDAN KID (E. Suvaljko) - Inconvenienced shortly after the start.
RACE 3 – TRAYNING BOWLING CLUB DIV.2 PACE (1730MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 4 – YELBINI DIV.1 PACE (1730MS)
OBSERVATION (K. Elliott) - Raced roughly shortly after the start was affected. Will continue to be placed outside the draw in mobile barrier events.
RACE 5 – TRAYNING POST OFFICE PACE (2130MS)
The all clear was delayed due to Driver S. Suvaljko (KRAKKA LIGHTNING) requesting to have the official photo finish reviewed for third placing with no further action being taken.
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 6 – TRAYNING CUP PACE (2130MS)
Driver C. Wallrodt (GORDON) was reprimanded under R162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position prior to the start being affected.
RACE 7 – TRAYNING TROTTING CLUB DIV.Q PACE (1730MS)
HILO TYSON (D. Harper) - Raced tightly with DWAYNE (J. Suvaljko) racing in the front straight on the final occasion and locked wheels shortly after the finish line.
RACE 8 – 2021 TRAYNING CUP WINNER CAVALRY CALL DIV.2 PACE (1730MS)
BATAVIA SHUFFLE (D. Goulden) - Gave ground from the 800 subsequently beaten 138 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer D. Goulden advised the gelding will now be retired. Will be stood down and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
SPORTS CENTRAL (C. Wallrodt) – When racing out of the back straight on the final occasion hung inwards when under pressure and locked wheels for a short distance with BELONERO (S. Suvaljko).
