RACE 1 – YOUNG WORKWEAR MAIDEN PACE – 1720 metres
RUBYRA – Checked from behind the tiring BARKWAY MARGARET near the 400 metres. Unable to obtain a clear run in the home straight.
BARKWAY MARGARET – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.
CLARES ACE– Hung-in at various stages throughout the race. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have sustained a cut to the inside of its near fore knee, which it received treatment for, as a result of the treatment it was stood down from racing for 28 days. Connections were also advised it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial prior to resuming racing.
INTHEBLINKOFANEYE– Post-race swab sampled.
CAUGHT OUT – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared, when Driver J Davis raised his hand. J Davis was questioned regarding him raising his hand, he stated that he felt his runner had received interference from RUBYRA in the early part of the score-up resulting in it breaking gait. After reviewing the patrol footage Stewards were of the view the mare did not receive sufficient interference to cause it to break gait, and given her record connections were advised that it would be placed outside the draw for future mobile start races.
MARSHMALLOW– Pre-race swab sampled. Inconvenienced near the 1000 metres when CLARES ACE, which was hanging-in, shifted-out.
RACE 2 – KEITH SIMMONS ENGINEERING PACE – 1720 metres
CONROD KENZE – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.
ARENA QUEEN – Raced roughly for a short distance rounding the first turn. Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader leaving the 1200 metres.
MACH ASSASSIN– Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
CRIME TIME– Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader leaving the 1400 metres.
RACE 3 – GLENN WILMOT PLASTERING PACE – 1720 metres
General – The start of this race was delayed due to BLACK ART NZ requiring farrier attention.
OUR SAMS HOME – Broke gait during the score-up and a false start was declared, for which a warning was issued. Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.
NOBLE TRICK– Post-race swab sampled.
ELEGANTDANCER – Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres.
EUCAN ROLL– Pre-race swab sampled.
BLACK ART NZ– Raced without hind shoes after losing one during the preliminary and the Club farrier subsequently removed the other one prior to the start.
BROKKLYN BANDIT – Pulled hard during the score-up at the second attempt to start the race. Caught racing three wide from the start, when over-racing while attempting to be restrained, before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1000 metres.
TULHURST TERROR – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.
RACE 4 – HIGH MOTOR GROUP PACE – 1720 metres
LOUIE THE PUNTER NZ– Raced in restricted room rounding the turn approaching the 600 metres, when racing to the inside of RONALDO NZ which hung-in.
SMOOTH OVERARM NZ– Post-race swab sampled.
RONALDO NZ – Hung-in rounding the turn approaching the 600 metres, placing LOUIE THE PUNTER NZ in restricted room.
MYRA DAWN– Pre-race swab sampled.
ROCK FISHERMAN – Galloped as the start was effected, connections were advised that it would continue to be placed outside the draw in mobile start races.
RACE 5 – T & D PRODUCE PACE – 2100 metres
TURBO TOMMY – Held up for clear running until obtaining a run to the inside of LAURIE DEE leaving the 100 metres.
LAURIE DEE– Post-race swab sampled.
LIZZADRO– Pre-race swab sampled. Caught racing three wide from the start, over-raced while being to be restrained to take up a position in the running line at the rear of the field near the 1400 metres. Continued to over-race during the middle stages of the event, for which a warning was issued, and raced three wide without cover from near the 1000 metres as a result.
NIGHT TO REMEMBER – Had a tendency to over-race during the middle stages of the event.
DUNNO JO – Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1800 metres. Over-raced during the early stages of the event.
BETTOR KEPPEL – Galloped for a short distance during the score-up.
BAXTER RED – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader near the 1200 metres.
RACE 6 – PCFA CRITICAL CATCH CLUB MENANGLE COUNTRY SERIES HEAT – 1720 metres
FIRE AND SWORD– Pre-race swab sampled.
FLEETWOOD ROCK– Shifted-in approaching the 1400 metres when not sufficiently clear of YUM CHA, Driver T Osmond was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in future. Post-race swab sampled.
JUST ROCKNROLL– Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres.
CRIME DONT PAY – Contacted the sulky wheel of ROLL ALONG JANE approaching the 200 metres, when tightened for room between that runner, which shifted-in slightly, and WESTERN BILL which hung-out, and was checked and broke gait.
ROLL ALONG JANE – Sulky wheel contacted by CRIME DONT PAY approaching the 200 metres.
DELIGHTFUL ME – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader leaving the 1200 metres.
WESTERN BILL – Hung-out slightly when rounding the turn approaching the 200 metres.
RACE 7 – GLEN MIA SADDLERY PACE – 1720 metres
DARK TERROR – Held up for clear running for the majority of the home straight.
JOETOMO– Pre-race swab sampled.
INFINITY BEACH – Caught racing three wide from the start before being restrained to take up a position in the running line at the rear of the field leaving the 1400 metres.
HOLY CAMP DILLON– Post-race swab sampled.
OUR PRINCESS KENNEDY NZ – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the lead from GOD BLESS YOU leaving the 1200 metres.
