Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE  1850M

Ima Calvert Rose (Tr) (Zac Chappenden) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 500 metre point of the race.

Manoflisa (Trent Hodges) Galloped in the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections advised the Gelding will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

Race 2 - FAMILY FUN RACEDAY JULY 10 PACE  1850M

Chang (Clint Sneddon) Inclined to hang in throughout the run contacting a marker peg.

Ghost Gum (Julie Weidemann) Completed the race with a broken nearside number one carrying

Dont Yoube Naughty (Angus Garrard) Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

Keayang Sponge Bob (Nathan Dawson) Broke free of interference leaving the 1600 metre point of the race. Connections were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly. The gelding also cast a plate whilst galloping.

Race 3 - JIM MADDEN PACE (SKY 2)  1850M

Poser (Zac Chappenden) Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Writeaboutchelsea (Trent Hodges) Failed to circle in the pre-race preliminary then was inclined to over race and pull hard in the position outside of the leader before obtaining cover when Risky Buziness took up the position. Commenced to yield ground over the concluding stages.

Risky Buziness (Mathew Neilson) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Race 4 - GARRARDS LOCKYER VALLEY VET PRACTICE PACE (SKY 2)  1850M

No Racing incidents

Race 5 - INAUGURAL WESTERN STAR JULY 10 PACE (SKY 2)  1850M

Molliesmaryelle (Narissa McMullen) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 800 metre point.

Sir Bulski (Tim Gillespie) Raced in the position outside of the leader before sharply yielding grounding leaving the 400 metre point of the gelding finished in last position 144 metres from the winner. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to of choked down in the race and connections were advised the gelding will be required to complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.

Whata Roller (Taleah McMullen) Broke free of interference entering the first turn. Connections were advised the gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

Hes Sweet (Leonard Cain) Placed back in the mobile draw after two consecutive successful mobile starts.

Race 6 - THANKS RON KNACK PACE (SKY 2)   1850M

Miss Mia (Pete McMullen) Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.

My Ultimate Louie (Ricky Gordon) Raced roughly through the middle stages then broke gait when rounding the home turn when the gelding was momentarily placed in restricted racing room between Mis Mia who was yielding ground and Western Showgirl. The gelding clipped the outside sulky wheel of Mis Mia becoming unbalanced and breaking gait.

Hurricane Dream (Alan Donohoe) Broke free of interference rounding the first turn. Connections were advised the mare will be placed on his last chance to race truly.

Feelin Flirty (Lachie Manzelmann)  Shifted three wide leaving the 900 metres when My Ultimate Louie began to race roughly when racing ahead of the Gelding.

Race 7 - BIG BENS BAKERY LOWOOD PACE (SKY 2)  1850M

My Ultimate Clippa (Ricky Gordon) Inconvenienced by the tiring Melton Xmas Girl leaving the 600 metre point of the race.

Melton Xmas Girl (Taleah McMullen) Commenced to yield ground leaving the 700 metre point of the race finishing in last position in excess of 130 metres from the winner. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities and due to the horses previous poor record will be required to complete two satisfactory consecutive requalifying trials prior to resuming racing.

Handsome Harry NZ (Lachie Manzelmann) Inconvenienced leaving the 600metre point when My Ultimate Clippa shifted ground to avoid the tiring Melton Xmas Girl.

General

Driver Ricky Gordon was reprimanded under AHR 168 (1)(a) for shifting ground in a careless manner leaving the 600metre point which placed Handsome Harry at a minor disadvantage.

Driver Jordan Topping was fined the sum of $200 under AHR 156 (3) for utilizing her whip in a continuous unapproved manner.

Race 8 - OAKWOOD CAPITAL PACE (SKY 2)  2200M

Tearaway Diamond (Justin Elkins) Locked stays with Sole Ambition NZ over the concluding stages of the event. Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.  

Fortyeighthenson (Darren McCall) Hung in at the start. Tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Sole Ambition NZ (Lachie Manzelmann) Left a one out trailing position working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader nearing the 1500 metre point. Locked stays with Tearaway Diamond over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 9 - NAIDOC CELEBRATION JULY 10 PACE (SKY 2)  1850M

High On Montana (Lachie Manzelmann) Raced roughly in the score up.

Aqua Cruiser (Jonah Hutchinson) Pulled hard when racing in the position outside of the leader before obtaining cover through the middle stages.

Pebble Sands (Matt Elkins) Trainer advised the mare would be driven more forward in today’s event. 

Dollarbill (Matt Crone)  Raced three wide with cover leaving the 1700 metre point.

Sailalong Sinbad (Amanda Payne) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

One Last Roll (Narissa McMullen) Raced three wide without cover leaving the 1700 metre point.
