RACE 1 – SKY RACING ACTIVE MAIDEN PACE – 1609 metres

REDBANK CHARLOTTE – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was determined fit to compete. A pre race blood sample was taken.

LOUTHPARKSCHOONER– Raced greenly throughout.

KNIGHT WALKER– Hung out when placed under pressure inside the 200 metres. A post race urine sample was obtained.

LIBERTY SHANNON– Broke the number one carrying strap on the near side during the race. Connections subsequently advised that LIBERTY SHANNON would be spelled.

RACE 2 – THE PUB GUNNEDAH ROAD PACE – 1609 metres

LIFES A JUNGLE– A pre race blood sample was taken and a post race urine sample was obtained.

MAGIC SHOOS– Was hampered and had to be steadied momentarily rounding the turn after the start when racing in restricted room on the inside CRONIN, which was carried in slightly by BELLA BLONDIE, which shifted in momentarily when not quite clear.

OUR BUSHWACKER– A pre race veterinary examination was conducted with the gelding declared fit to compete.

HEAR THE CALL NZ – Underwent a pre race veterinary examination which determined the gelding fit to compete.

RACE 3 – FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK PACE – 1980 metres

JACKEROO SHANNON- A pre race blood sample was taken.

MYKINDOFFEELING- A post race urine sample was obtained.

RIPPIN GOOD FEELIN– Broke stride and galloped shortly after the start. Taking into account all of the circumstances, trainer / driver Mr J Donovan was advised that the provision of last chance in the mobile draw would be placed on the geldings racing record.

NIGHT LIGHTS NZ– Had to be checked and raced roughly for a short distance near the 450 metres when attempting to improve into a narrow run between DOTHEDEALDYLAN and MYTHOS on its outside.

A PARADIGM SHIFT– Broke stride and galloped in the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the geldings racing record.

RACE 4 – M&M OFFICE NATIONAL PACE – 1609 metres

TRALEE CHARLIE– A pre race blood sample was taken. When questioned in relation to the performance, driver Mr T Ison explained that he attempted to go forward in the early stages and drove with vigour with the hope of obtaining the lead. He said that after being unable to achieve this he was able to settle TRALEE CHARLIE in a position one out and one back where the gelding travelled relatively well, however when he attempted to go forward passing the 600 metres TRALEE CHARLIE was unresponsive and could not improve. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality. Trainer Mr I Mabbott said that he would monitor the geldings recovery prior to making a decision on a future racing program and undertook to notify stewards should anything become apparent in the ensuing days which could have led to this performance.

LORD BAZALUP– Post race urine sample was obtained.

TOINFINITYNBEYOND– Following required satisfactory performance, connections were advised that the gelding would now be eligible to be placed in the mobile barrier draw.  

RACE 5 – THREAD EFFECTS – RUG EMBROIDERY PACE – 1980 metres

TACKAS LAST DANCE – A pre race blood sample was taken.

ROCKIN IN CHELSEA– A post race urine sample was obtained.

KALYPSO SAL– Raced in restricted room for a considerable distance inside the 400 metres and rounding the home turn, then was further inconvenienced and had to be shifted in near the 100 metres to obtain clear running.

SAHARA JEWEL– Hung in during the score up and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s record.

ROCLEA IMAGE– Had to be steadied momentarily shortly after the start when crowded by REDBANK OLIVIA, which shifted in when not quite clear. S Glasby the trainer driver of REDBANK OLIVIA was asked to exercise more care in future.

RACE 6 – BEARING ACCESSORIES TAMWORTH PACE – 1609 metres

WELL THATS ALRIGHT - A post race urine sample was obtained.

SIR CRACKER– When questioned in relation to the performance, driver Ms M Simon explained that SIR CRACKER was unbalanced rounding the turns and continually contacted its off fore near to the extent that over the concluding stages SIR CRACKER weakened and the knee boots became displaced.

BLISSFULL DONNA- A pre race blood sample was taken.

BALBOA SHANNON – Broke stride in the score up, galloped and was out of position at the start. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s record.

RACE 7 – PETERMAC ON-COURSE PHOTOGRAPHY PACE – 1609 metres

ARKADY – Sustained a flat tyre passing the 1100 metres when being checked to avoid UPTOTRIX, which after working forward and obtaining a position in the running line was steadied, which resulted in ALWAYS BOPPING which was racing behind and racing fiercely, contacting the sulky of ARKADY. Taking into account all the circumstances, particularly the  tendency of Always Bopping to race fiercely, T Ison was reprimanded (AR162(1)(u)), for abruptly checking the tempo at that stage.

UPTOTRIX– When questioned in relation to the performance, Driver T Ison explained that after being trapped wide in the early stages and being driven forward to obtain the position outside the lead, UPTOTRIX was unresponsive from the 500 metres and could not improve. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.

DIESEL DON– Driver Mr A Varga was fined $50 (AR 163(1)(c)), for contacting marker pegs when attempting to secure a narrow run inside SALS GLEE near the 100 metres.

OUR ROYS DREAM- A post race urine sample was obtained.

ALWAYS BOPPING– A pre race blood sample was taken. Over raced during the early and middle stages and contacted the sulky of ARKADY.

RACE 8 – VALE BERYL DEAN – NARRABRI PACE – 1609 metres

HIGHINAUCKLAND – Broke stride and galloped when a start was being attempted resulting in a false start being declared. Subsequently on the second attempt, HIGHINAUCKLAND again broke stride and galloped with a false start again being declared. HIGHINAUCKLAND was scratched at 5:04pm. Connections were subsequently advised that prior to racing again HIGHINAUCKLAND must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial and then it would be placed outside the mobile barrier draw.

FAISELLE- A pre race blood sample was taken.

SOMETHINGABOUTLEXY- A post race urine sample was obtained.

RACE 9 – HAZELLS FARM & FERTILIZER SERVICES PACE – 1609 metres

WERENT WATCHING NZ – When questioned in relation to the performance, driver T Ison explained that with hindsight he should have elected to maintain to the position he established in the early stages racing on the marker pegs behind the leader. He said that in his opinion his decision to shift out from that position and race outside the leader contributed to the mare’s condition giving out passing the 500 metres and it being unresponsive. He said that it was the stables intention to continue the preparation of WERENT WATCHING NZ and providing its recovery was satisfactory it would be nominated to race again at Tamworth on Thursday the 2nd of June 2022.

ZOEMAGIC– Broke stride and galloped as the start was effected. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s record.

PARATROUPER– Trainer / driver Mr J Donavon was reprimanded (AR 163A(1)) for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.

CASINO COMEDY– Broke stride free of any external factors rounding the turn after the start and galloped. Connections were advised that prior to racing again, CASINO COMEDY must perform satisfactorily in an official qualifying trial.

THUNDAMENTAL– Was hampered at the start when positioned behind ZOEMAGIC which galloped.

IM COMPLIANT NZ– A pre race blood sample was taken.
