GENERAL: Stewards inquired into the reasons for LADY PEBBLES and SAHARA JEWEL locking wheels as the field negotiated the first turn. After taking evidence from all parties and upon review of the patrol footage it was established that when WERENT WATCHING NZ was closing down the track when negotiating the first turn to find the back of CASH EM IN SHANNON commenced to do so with the required clearance over LADY PEBBLES and as the field progressed into the turn further driver G Panella looked to muster up to the inside of WERENT WATCHING NZ and was placed in restricted room and as a result raced inside the line of SAHARA JEWEL as a result those runners locked wheels and dropped back through the field.
