Race 1 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE           1780M

My Girl Mandy (Nathan Dawson) Hung in on the turn out of the front straight contacted a marker peg after the start and again from approximately the 300 metres until the home turn on the final occasion. A warning was issued.

Chief Jujon (Grant Dixon) Gate speed to lead.

Cradock (Brendan Barnes) Gate speed and led one (1) wide line throughout.

General:          Driver R. Markey (Sir Boston) was fined $200 for crossing his reins and applying the whip to Sir Boston in the front straight in the run to the finish (AHRR 156(2) a.)

Race 2 – DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY PACE      1780M

Valkyrie Hanover (Lachie Manzelmann) Gate speed to lead

Champagne Reactor (Nathan Dawson) Obtained trail early.

Jaydes Terror (Hayden Barnes) Broken hopple loop then broke on the turn out of the back straight. The gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition and no action was taken in this circumstance.

Quality Time (Rhett Markey) Broke early in the score up and out of position start. The gelding will continue to be drawn wide in future mobile events.

Three Machs (Jonah Hutchinson) Over raced in the middle stages and hung out on the turn out of the back straight in the final lap.

General:           A post race veterinary examination conducted on Write Time revealed that the gelding had bled from both nostrils. As the gelding had a previous offence in accordance with AHRR 101(3)b Write Time is barred from racing for life.

Race 3 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION UP TO NR70 PACE   2280M

Philandering Chef (Nathan Dawson) Gate speed to lead. Gave ground over the concluding stages.

Mongolian Conqueror NZ (Dannielle Veivers) Obtained trail early.

Dattitude (Zac Chappenden) Broke in the score up then again after the start. The gelding will be drawn wide in future mobile events.

Misty Creek (Hayden Barnes) Gate speed to lead the one (1) wide line throughout.

Parama NZ (Riley Butt) Shifted in and contacted a marker peg on the turn into the front straight in the first lap of the event.

Race 4 - GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE 1780M

Living Free (Angus Garrard) Gate speed. Obtained trail early. Shifted in and contacted marker peg in the side straight in the final lap.

Our Eduardo Denario NZ (Leonard Cain) Obtained trail early then over raced before yielding ground over the concluding stages.

Rocco Variety (Hayden Barnes) Gate speed to lead.

Downtown Lucca (Mathew Neilson) Restrained to rear at start.

Dargos Pet (Matt Crone) Inconvenienced when Our Eduardo Denario NZ yielded ground in the side straight in the final lap.

Soulwriter (Nathan Dawson) Raced wide middle stages to lead outside line.

Race 5 – ELDERS WOODFORD PACE 1780M

Just One Good One NZ (Taleah McMullen) Gate speed then obtained trail early.

Bee A Blessing (Dannielle Veivers) Gate speed to lead then inclined to pull hard in front.

Diego Delgado (Zac Chappenden) Worked forward to lead one (1) wide line.;

Rollonx (Brendan Barnes) Restrained after the start to the rear.

Major Slip Up (Angus Garrard) Restrained after the start to the rear then over raced. Commenced a three (3) wide run approaching the turn into the front straight with a lap remaining.

Trioli (Matt Crone) Shifted in and contacted a marker peg on the turn into the back straight in the first lap.

Race 6 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE           1780M

Call Me Trish (Hayden Barnes) Inconvenienced approaching the turn into front straight in the final lap when Shooby commenced to yielded ground.

Schooby (Angus Garrard) Crossed at the start by before pressing to lead at approximately 1500 metres.

Prince Joy (Nathan Dawson) Three wide late.

Delightful Rainbow (Leonard Cain) Gate speed to lead.

Monterey Jack NZ (David McKenzie) Caught wide early before working to lead the one (1) wide line at approximately 1500 metres.

Rocknroll Da Gama (Chloe Butler) Caught wide early and restrained to rear.

Devouged (Brendan Barnes) Obtained trail at approximately 1500 metres.

General:          Stewards questioned driver A. Garrard (Schooby) in regard to the overall performance today when Schooby was crossed at the start by Delightful Rainbow before pushing forward to lead. Mr. Garrard advised stewards that he wasn’t overly disappointed as he considers Schooby a better horse when in front in its races and considering the mile rate of 1.57.4 and beaten 25 metres. Stewards noted the comments for future reference.

Race 7 – REDCLIFFE LEAGUES CLUB PACE  1780M

Studleigh Will (Taleah McMullen) Gate speed to lead. Shifted in on the turn into the front straight and contacted a marker peg.

Joey Lincoln NZ (Brendan Barnes) Restrained after start to a position.

Gotta Dream (Trent Moffat) Restrained after the start to the rear.

Luxury Lad (Angus Garrard) Worked forward at start to lead the one (1) wide line throughout.

Cheddar Made Betta NZ (Hayden Barnes) Held up in the side straight in the final lap before obtaining clear running in the run to the finish.

Race 8 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE    1780M

Faireachdainn (Nathan Dawson) Used sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Sweet Jasmine (Matt Elkins) Obtained trail early.

Studleigh Mark (Taleah McMullen) Gate speed to lead. The gelding had a tendency to shift out under pressure.

Midnight Somewhere (Mitchell Cox) Worked forward to lead the one (1) wide line.

Stormtide (Mathew Neilson) Used sprint lane

Mount Hercules (Brendan Barnes) Failed to gain clear running in the run to the finish.

Race 9 - AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS PACE        1780M

Rockindownunder (Grant Dixon) Gate speed to lead.

This Ones For You (Chris Geary) Inconvenienced when Rockindownunder yielded ground in the side straight in the run to the finish.

Firehouse (Mathew Neilson) Gate speed over raced when leading the one (1) wide line.

Motu Cullen NZ (Jonah Hutchinson)

Yarraman Rocky (Taleah McMullen) Broke gate after the start and will be drawn wide in future mobile events.

General:          Stewards conducted a veterinary inspection on Rockindownunder which yielded ground over the final 400 metres of the event to be beaten in excess of 55 metres when leading the event. Dr. Cavanagh advised that there was no significant findings. Trainer Driver G. Dixon explained that with the favoured runners to his outside he kicked up to hold the lead as Rockindownunder has raced well in front previously. Mr. Dixon advised that Rockindownunder would in all likelihood be driven with cover in future events. Mr. Dixon was advised to notify stewards should anything arise regarding the performance in ensuing days. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 10 -POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE 1780M

Tee Ravelling (Matt Elkins) Gate speed and led.

Gabbys Sportstar (David McKenzie) Sustained a flat tyre at approximately 500 metres

Geldof (Amanda Payne) Worked forward to lead the outside line.

Jilliby Jackpot (Angus Garrard) Restrained after the start to rear.

General:          Baileys With Legs NZ was pulled up with approximately 800 metres remaining in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed arrhythmia. Acting in accordance with the course veterinary surgeon’s recommendation Dr. G. Cavanagh, Baileys With Legs NZ was stood down for fourteen days an ECG test and a trial.

                        Stewards intend to interview driver A. Payne (Geldof) in relation to the manner in which Geldof was driven over the concluding stages. Ms. Payne had left the course and stewards complete this at a time and date to be fixed.

                        Driver N. Dawson (Major Mischief) was reprimanded for accidently contacting and puncturing the near side tyre of Gabbys Sportstar on the apex of the turn into the side straight in the final lap. Stewards took into account Mr. Dawsons driving record and mitigating circumstances. (AHRR 168(1)a)
