Race 1 - ELDERS WOODFORD MAIDEN PACE  1780M

Bountyhunter (Trent Moffat) inclined to shift out under pressure in the run to the finish.

Payout (Bryse McElhinney) inspected by the veterinary surgeon at the request of the stewards after competing at Redcliffe on 26 October. The gelding was passed fit to take its place in the field.

Studleigh Patricia (Taleah McMullen) out of position when the start was effected and the filly will continue to be drawn wide in future mobile starts.

Black Gemstone (Mathew Neilson) galloped free of interference on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Connections were advised the mare will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Major Paint (Ricky Gordon) held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

Race 2 - HYGAIN FEEDS 4YO & OLDER UP TO 3 WINS PACE   1780M

Barroom Blitz (Hayden Barnes) hung in at various stages and connections were advised to take corrective measures.

Race 3 - RQ SUPPORTS RACING INDUSTRY SAFETY PACE  1780M

Downtown Lucca (Pete McMullen) held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

Whata Challenge (Leonard Cain) hung in despite the efforts of its driver on the final turn and contacted two marker pegs.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HERE ON TRACK PACE  1780M

Melton Max Gentle (Taleah McMullen) severely checked when tightened for racing room and locked wheels with Office Bad Boy in the home straight in the run to the finish.

Office Bad Boy (Matt Elkins) severely checked in the home straight in the run to the finish when Wonderwoman Jujon hung in. Locked sulky wheels with Melton Max Gentle which was racing to the inside and ultimately galloped.

Wonderwoman Jujon (Mathew Neilson) hung in on entrance to the home straight when improving quickly and caused interference to horses racing to the inside. After reviewing the filly’s record in this regard, connections were advised Wonderwoman Jujon will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Chasin Dreamz (Matt Crone) shifted out under pressure and driver Matt Crone was advised to make more effort to keep his drives straight.

Race 5 - DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY PACE  2040M

Grigora (Alan Donohoe) when questioned regarding the overall performance of Grigora, driver Alan Donohoe advised he was able to maintain the lead with the advantage of inside after the start however had insufficient speed to hold out heavenly Wisdom challenge for the lead at the 1600 metres. He said he elected to move away from the marker pegs moving into the back straight on the first occasion on the impression Bettor Rocknroll would improve from the rear and provide him cover. Mr Donohoe further explained that when this did not occur, Grigora was not suited racing outside the leader after being exerted early, and in hindsight he made an error in judgement by shifting away from the marker pegs.

Bettor Rocknroll (Pete McMullen) commenced forward run from the rear of the field in the home straight with a lap remaining and obtain the position without cover in the back straight on the final occasion but failed to run on as anticipated and finished in seventh position beaten 39.5 metres. Stewards directed a veterinary examination be carried out on the gelding which revealed lameness in the near hind leg. The Stewards adopted the veterinary surgeon’s recommendation that Bettor Rocknroll not be permitted to race for a period of seven days at the conclusion of which a veterinary clearance will be required.

Race 6 - MAZDA ASPLEY PACE  2040M

Malibu Dream (Alan Donohoe) hung in and contacted a marker peg on entrance to the front straight on the first occasion and again on entrance to the front straight to receive the bell.

Toro Delago NZ (Jordan Topping) held up for clear running in the concluding stages and was not fully tested.

Race 7 - WELCOME GEORGIA RAE PACE  1780M

Augusta Hanover (Paige Bevan) caused a false start on the first occasion when the mare galloped in the latter stages of the score up causing inconvenience to horses the second line. At the second starting dispatch, Augusta Hanover galloped again in the latter stages of the score up losing valuable ground however horses drawn on the second line were able to avoid any interference and a start was affected. Connections were advised Augusta Hanover will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile starts.

Race 8 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE    1780M

Jingles Bromac NZ (Paige Bevan) Stewards intend to open inquiry into the driving tactics adopted by Paige Bevan on Jingles Bromac NZ during this race. As Miss Bevan had left the course within the prescribed allowable timeframe, this inquiry will be conducted on Thursday 3 November.

Race 9 - TAB VENUE MODE PACE (SKY 2)  1780M
