Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY UP TO NR70 PACE          1780M

Arthur Lowe NZ (Lachie Manzelmann) Restrained at the start. Hung in nearing the 700 metre point of the race contacting a marker peg.

Lochiel NZ (Jordan Topping) Raced in a one out trailing position throughout the race however commenced to yield ground over the concluding stages of the event finishing in last position in excess of 80 metres from the winner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying no significant findings. Connections advised they were disappointed with today’s performance and could not offer any explanation other than to report if anything comes to light with the gelding in the coming days. Stewards advised the Gelding will be placed on its last chance to race competitively.  

Jumping Jolt (Greg Elkins) Caught wide over the early stages of the event before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.

Race 2 – HYGAIN FEEDS PACE           2040M

Dancelikeanangel (Pete McMullen) Restrained at the start.

Keayang Tara (Hayden Barnes) Inclined to hang out throughout the race.

Rocknroll Max NZ (Ryan Veivers) Inclined to hang in over the concluding stages.

Race 3 -            GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE 1780M

JACKBKWIK (Jordan Topping) Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.

BONZA GUY (Zac Chappenden) Broke free of interference leaving the 700metre point of the race. The Gelding cast an off fore plate in running. Connections were advised the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Race 4 - NORTHGATE COMFORT INN PACE   1780M

Bettor Memories (Leonard Cain)Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

My Ultimate Louie (Ricky Gordon) Inclined to hang in throughout the run contacting a marker peg nearing the 400 metre point.

Ginatiano (Angus Garrard) The outside sulky wheel was contacted by Butcherfeelgood over the latter stages of the score up.

Butcherfeelgood (Matt Elkins) Contacted the barrier arm in the easrly stages of the score up despite the efforts of the driver. The gelding then was inclined to hang in throughout the score up and race roughly contacting the outside sulky wheel of Ginatiano at the start. The gelding will continue to be drawn to the extreme outside for future mobile starts.

Chump Chop (Pete McMullen) Left a one out trailing position nearing the 800 metre point working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Race 5 – STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE            1780M

Tracer Bullet (Jonah Hutchinson) Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages of the event before shifting wider to race in the position outside of the leader. The Gelding was inclined to over race when racing in this position.

Master Charles (Pete McMullen) Successfully challenged for the lead and led throughout.

Heartbreak (Matt Elkins) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 700 metre point.

Race 6 - WOOLLAM CONSTRUCTIONS PACE 1780M

Fly Cheval (Ricky Gordon) Inconvenienced by the tiring Bears Best rounding the hometurn.

Bears Best (Pete McMullen) Raced three wide over the early stages working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader. The Gelding then commenced to tire over the concluding stages.

Race 7 – REDCLIFFE LEAGUES CLUB PACE  1780M

Many Delights (Dexter Mclean) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Pageantry (Mathew Neilson) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Floorless (Aaron Smith) Placed back in mobile draw after two successful consecutive mobile starts.

Race 8 - ELDERS WOODFORD PACE  1780M

Illawongdreamtime (Angus Garrard) Inclined to hang in when leading contacting a peg leaving the 600 metre point.

Forgive Me (Pete McMullen) Surrendered the position outside of the leader over the early stages of the event when Major Grandeur worked forward to obtain the position.

Major Grandeur (Chloe Butler) Caught wide over the early stages working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

My Secret Beach (Hayden Barnes) Was inclined to hang in contacting a marker peg leaving the first turn.

Race 9 - GRAND PRIX MAZDA ASPLEY PACE            1780M

Beef City Starzzz (Peter Greig) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Mustang Dude (Hayden Barnes) Surrendered the position outside of the leader over the early stages of the event when Fortyfive Rock worked forward to obtain the position.

Fortyfive Rock (Angus Garrard) Caught wide over the early stages working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Go Jo Jolt (Matt Elkins) Restrained at the start. Commenced a three wide run without cover leaving the 700 metre point of the race.

Bella Godiva (Mathew Neilson) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
