Race 1 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE  2040M]

Adrenaline Rush (Matt Elkins) Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event then utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Rockslide (Grant Dixon) Raced in the position outside of the leader before yielding ground over the concluding stages of the event finishing in last position 22 metres from the winner. Trainer G. Dixon put forward he was happy with the horse leading into the race however was disappointed with today’s performance however the horse has pulled up well. Trainer G. Dixon will advise stewards if anything comes to light with the Gelding in the coming days.

Misstrepo (Nathan Dawson) Inclined to over race through the middle stages of the event.

Race 2 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE  2040M

Bettor Keep Rocking NZ (Angus Garrard) Raced in the position outside of the leader over the early stages before working forward to obtain the lead nearing the 1400 metre point.

Diego Delgado (Zac Chappenden) Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the early stages obtaining the position behind The Ragnbone Man.

The Ragnbone Man (Mark Dux) Successfully challenged for the lead over the early stages then obtained a trail on Bettor Keep Rocking NZ.

Courageous Sam (Chloe Butler) Hung out leaving the 1500 m point of the race becoming unbalanced contacting the outside sulky wheel of My Ultimate Victor and breaking gait.

Head Noise (Grant Dixon) Broke free of interference leaving the first turn. Connections were advised the Filly will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.

General

Stewards Inquired into an incident leaving the first turn and entering the back straight on the first occasion where by Courageous Sam broke gait. It was established after hearing evidence from Chloe Butler the driver of Courageous Sam was attempting to obtain a one out trailing position at the same time as Driver Peter Greig was also attempting to shift wider to obtain the same position. It was established that both drivers simultaneously shifted resulting in Courageous Sam striking the outside sulky wheel of My Ultimate Victor and breaking gait. Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that no one driver was at fault and noted the incident as a racing incident.

Race 3 - HUSTLER RAPTOR PACE  1780M

Old English (Zac Chappenden) Inclined to pull hard and over race when leading.

Bangkok Bravado (Matt Crone) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Letsplayuni (Leonard Cain) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Gabbys Sportstar (David McKenzie) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 4 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT NATHAN DAWSON PACE  1780M

Polka Dot Dance NZ (Will Rixon) Obtained a trail through the middle stages when Tee Ravelling worked forward to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Ideal Tiger NZ (Chloe Butler) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages.

Tee Ravelling (Nathan Dawson) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to the position outside the leader nearing the 1500 metre point.

Rosarito (Phoebe Betts) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Missinmemate NZ (Zac Chappenden) Unable to secure clear running over the concluding stages of the event.

Race 5 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE  2040M

Specialandiknowit ( Chloe Butler) Inclined to pull hard when racing in the position outside of the leader. Obtained cover when Motu Cullen NZ worked forward nearing the 1500 metre point.

Misterriodejaneiro (Matt Elkins) Commenced a three wide run leav5ing the 700 metre point.

Our Boy Roy (Angus Garrard) Tightened for room at the finish point of the race and had to steer sharply down into the sprint lane after the finish.

Motu Cullen NZ (Jonah Hutchinson) Left a one out trailing position working forward three wide when the pace slackened nearing the 1500 metre point of the race to obtain the position outside of the leader.

Race 6 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PACE  1780M

A Good Ideal NZ (Nathan Dawson) Commenced to yield ground leaving the 500metre point, tailed out and took no further competitive part finishing in last position in excess of 238 metres from the winner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the Gelding to be suffering from atrial fibrillation and will be stood down for a period of 14 days complete respite and is to complete a satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing. Connections will also have to furnish the results of an ECG and veterinary clearance prior to trailing.

Race 7 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER DAVID GREAVES PACE  1780M

Whata Reactor (Justin Elkins) Led the event over the early stages before obtaining cover from Torque to the Max.

Toolittletoolate (David McKenzie) Momentarily locked wheels with Torque to the max leaving the back straight on the first occasion then the gelding hung in.

Torque To The Max (Jonah Hutchinson) Momentarily locked wheels with Toolittletoolate leaving the back straight on the first occasion. Worked forward to the lead leaving the 1300 metre point.

Feelgood Express (Shane Graham) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 800metre point.

Race 8 - ELDERS WOODFORD PACE  1780M

The Crom (Matt Crone) Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.

Penultima (Matt Elkins) Commenced a three wide run leaving the 500metre point of the event.

Race 9 - NORTHGATE COMFORT INN MAIDEN PACE   1780M

Outer Change (Leonard Cain) Broke at the start free of interference. Connections were advised the Filly will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.

Moon Over Montana (Matt Elkins) Locked wheels briefly with Tonys Secret rounding the home turn.

Cee Sixty Three ( John Balin) Checked when the pace slackened which resulted in Emmaleen contacting the rear of the sulky and being checked.

Nizhoni (Riley Butt) Raced three wide over the early stages before working forward to the leading position.

Emmaleen (Mark Belford) Contacted the rear of the sulky of Cee Sixty Three and was Severely checked when the pace slackened abruptly and broke gait no action was taken against the Filly in this incident.

Tonys Secret (Nathan Dawson) Locked wheels briefly with Moon Over Montanta rounding the home turn.
