Supplementary Report.
Trainers representative D. March Reported from Thursday Albion Park 11/11/22 Atomic Pete has shown no further significant findings from the race over the subsequent days and if the horse continues to perform to a similar standard the horses racing future in the stable will be reviewed.
Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE PACE 1780M
Oliver Winkle (Leonard Cain) Hung in when tiring over the concluding stages of the event contacting the final peg entering the sprint lane.
Rocknroll Da Gama (Lola Weidemann) Severely checked when Lockart Shard NZ broke gait leaving the 750metre point.
Mister Hart (Phil Chappenden) Checked when Lockart Shard NZ broke gait leaving the 750metre point.
Talkerup NZ (Clint Petroff) Inclined to hang out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.
Lochart Shard NZ (Darrel Graham) Became unbalanced and broke gait leaving the 750 metre point hanging out and locking wheels with Ginger Mickey. Connections were advised the Colt will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.
Ginger Micky (Mathew Neilson) Severely checked and locked wheels when Lockart Shard NZ broke gait leaving the 750metre point. Momentarily placed in restricted racing room upon entering the home straight when October Racketeer hung in and Talkerup NZ hung out simultaneously.
October Racketeer (Trent Moffat) checked when Lockart Shard NZ broke gait leaving the 750metre point. Inclined to hang in and shift ground entering the home straight when placed under pressure.
Race 2 –HUSTLER SUPER Z PACE 1780M
Royal Princess (Pete McMullen) Surrendered the lead over the early stages. Hung in rounding the home turn contacting a marker peg.
Bettor Getta Lover (Lola Weidemann) Unsuccessfully challenged for the lead over the earlystages of the event before being restrained to a trailing position on the pegline.
Gangbuster (Dean Weller) Yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
My Ultimate Bondi (Chloe Butler) Raced wide over the early stages working forward to lead the event throughout.
Race 3 - NORTHGATE COMFORT INN PACE 1780M
Rolled In Gold (Brendan Barnes) Broke as the start was affected free of interference. Connections were advised the Mare will be placed out of the draw for future mobile starts.
Sheza Runny (Mathew Neilson) Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. The Mare will continue to be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. Held up for clear running over the concluding stages of the event.
Western Showgirl (Pete McMullen) Severely checked at the start by the galloping Rolled In Gold.
Race 4 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE 1780M
Woodlea Diego NZ (Chloe Butler) A pre race veterinary examination was undertaken on the Gelding after it was reported the Gelding had been kicked in the raceday stalls by another horse. The gelding was found to be exhibiting no significant findings and was cleared to race.
Kanye Crusader (Bryse Mcelhinney) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
He Said She Said (Brendan Barnes) Left a one out trailing position working forward to obtain the position outside of the leader leaving the 1300 metre point.
Race 5 – MAZDA ASPLEY PACE 1780M
Holdingno Currency (Phil Chappenden) Inclined to hang leaving the first turn despite the efforts of the driver. Connections were advised a warning will be placed on the gelding.
Gosling In Flight (Chloe Butler) Placed in restricted room contacting a marker peg momentarily leaving the first turn when Holdingno Currency was hanging in despite the efforts of his driver.
Race 6 - BURWOOD STUD PACE 1780Mi
Tactfilly Miracle (Mathew Neilson) Unsuccessfully withstood a challenge for the lead over the early stages.
Lesvos Lad (Leonard Cain) Utilized the sprint lane in the run to the finish.
Kotare Elite NZ (Nathan Dawson) Challenge for the lead over the early stages of the event. Tired and yielded ground over the concluding stages of the event.
La Pistola (Peter Greig) Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Just One Good One NZ (Ricky Gordon) Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.
Race 7 –ELDERS WOODFORD 1 WIN PACE 1780M
Nicky Khan (Tom Ison) Hung out when placed under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.
Atomic Pete (Dayl March) Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. The Gelding will continue to be drawn to the outside for future mobile starts. Shortly after the start the Off side hopple shortner failed to release after the cord broke. The gelding then completed the race with the pin still in the offside hopple which may have placed the gelding at some disadvantage.
Artful Master (Leonard Cain) Hung in leaving the 800 metre point contacting a marker peg.
Race 8 - POWERUP LAWN MOWERS PACE 1780M
Im Isabella (Tom Ison) Surrendered the lead over the early stages of the event when Bee Gees Best worked forward.
Wild About Town (Melissa Kendall) Momentarily placed in restricted room entering the first turn when Little Auckland hung in momentarily tightening the runners to the inside. Commenced to yield ground quickly leaving the 750metre point resulting in Shoem Simon contacting the nearside sulky wheel flattening the wheel and fouling the tyre resulting in the Gelding being retired from the event.
Little Auckland (Phil Chappenden) Hung in briefly entering the first turn when challenging for a forward position.
Bee Gees Best (John Kerr) Raced wide over the early stages of the event working forward to obtain the leading position.
Showem Simon (Dean Weller) Made contact with the rear of the sulky of Wild About Town when the gelding yielded ground quickly.
General
Driver R. Gordon was fined the sum of $200 under AHR 156(2) for utilizing his whip in an unapproved manner.
Race 9 - GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE 1780M
Valkyrie Hanover (Leonard Cain) Broke free of interference entering the first turn. Connections were advised the Gelding will be placed on it’s last chance to race truly.
Beiderbecke (Zane Quaedvlieg) Gave Ground over the concluding stages of the event and tailed off. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to of bled from both nostrils for the first time. Connections were advised the gelding will be ineligible to race for a period of three months and will be required to furnish a veterinary certificate of fitness and complete one satisfactory requalifying trial prior to resuming racing.
