Supplementary Report:           Stewards continued an adjourned enquiry from Marburg on 11th July

 2022 regarding the apparent improved performance of Tungsten Terror NZ. After taking further

 evidence from Trainer Richard Hutchinson who advised he expected the horse to lead and win.

 Stewards reviewed all betting statistics available and found no abnormalities. Stewards noted the

  circumstances for future reference.

Race 1 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE  1780M

True Origins (Leonard Cain) Gate speed to lead.

Heza Galvinator (Zac Chappenden) Gate speed then led the one (1) wide line.

Heavens Baby (Nathan Dawson) Hung in contacted marker pegs whilst giving ground over the final 400 metres.

Dollar Bucks (Trent Dawson) Restrained after start then restrained to rear.

Race 2 - AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS MAIDEN PACE  1780M

Sabotage (Taleah McMullen) Gate speed to lead.

Hurrikane Mel (Hayden Barnes) Gave ground over the concluding stages.

Tell Me This NZ (Angus Garrard) Led the one (1) wide line throughout.

Magic Nitro (Nathan Dawson) Gave ground over the concluding stages.

Til Heavens Rockn NZ (Riley Butt) Out of position candy pole, last chance draw.

Filly Thirteen (Narissa McMullen) Restrained after start to a position.

Rainbow Classic (Trent Lethaby) Broke score up for a considerable distance. The gelding will be drawn wide in future mobile events.

Race 3 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE  1780M

Valkyrie Hanover (Chloe Butler) Gate speed to lead. Repelled challenge from Lucinda Jamar.

Lucinda Jamar (Matt Elkins) Unsuccessful challenge lead. Gave ground.

Whata Reactor (Nathan Dawson) Over raced then yielded ground over concluding stages.

My Ultimate Heston (Mathew Neilson) Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

General:          Stewards queried driver Chloe Butler (Valkyrie Hanover) into driving tactics in the early stages to hold the lead in the event. Ms. Butler advised that trainer L. Hinze was of the opinion that the mare races best when in front in its events and to take advantage of the draw. A post race veterinary examination failed to find any abnormalities. Connections were advised to contact stewards if anything came to light to explain the performance in the near future.

Race 4 - DAN COSTELLO PHOTOGRAPHY PACE  1780M

A Good Ideal NZ (Pete McMullen) Gate speed withstood challenge in early stages.

Just One Good One NZ (Nathan Dawson) Gate speed unsuccessful challenge for lead before occupying the position outside the leader throughout. The gelding had a tenancy to shift out over the concluding stages.

Im A Classy Girl (Taleah McMullen) Raced roughly on the turn into the front straight in the final lap when driver elected to change direction closer to the marker line.

Major Slip Up (Angus Garrard) Caught wide early endeavoured to obtain trailing position before working forward however was obliged to race three (3) wide from approximately 1300 metres.

Heavenly Wisdom (Narissa McMullen) Restrained at start to the rear of the field.

Furiosa (Matt Crone) Shifted in and contacted marker peg on the turn into the front straight in the first lap then again at the 450 metres contacting a peg on the turn into the side straight

Race 5 - KNUDSEN'S BETTA HOME LIVING PACE  1780M

Studleigh Will (Trent Lethaby) Gate speed to lead.

Swinging George (Edd Bailey) Led the one (1) wide line.

Jelignite Jack (Hayden Barnes) Caught wide early then restrained to rear.

Melton Insulted (Taleah McMullen) Used sprint lane in the run to the finish.

General:          The all clear was delayed for stewards to review if Melton Insulted gained an advantage on the turn into the front straight in the run to the finish. After viewing and footage and their own observations the all clear was given and the judges placings confirmed. Driver Taleah McMullen was fined $100 for directing Melton Insulted to the peg line resulting in the sulky contacting the final marker peg. (AHRR 163(1)(c)(ii))

Race 6 - GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK PACE  2040M

Talkerup NZ (Trent Dawson) Used sprint lane in the run to the finish.

Hes Perfectly Ideal NZ (Narissa McMullen) Gate speed to lead. The gelding had a tenancy to over race.

Brilliant Art (David McKenzie) Caught three (3) wide in the early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear.

Stormtide (Mathew Neilson) Led the one (1) wide line throughout.

Voodoo Fella (Matt Elkins) Shifted out in the front straight in the run to the finish.

           

Race 7 - STEVIE REDBACK PEST CONTROL PACE  1780M

Mister Hart (Zac Chappenden) Gate speed to lead. The gelding broke free of interference in the side straight in the final lap. A last chance to race truly was placed on the Mister Hart.

Major Mischief (Pete McMullen) Gate speed to lead the one (1) wide line throughout. A warning was placed on the gelding for hanging out in the front straight in the run to the finish.

Vanity Bay (Chloe Butler) Caught wide early then restrained to rear.

Mighty George NZ (Leonard Cain) Restrained after the start to the rear of the field.

Braebeach NZ (Brendan Barnes) Restrained to rear after the start.

Race 8 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE  1780M

Braeview Fella (Narissa McMullen) Gate speed to lead.

Prince Joy (Nathan Dawson) Lead the one (1) wide line early before obtaining cover at approximately 1300 metres. The gelding failed to obtain clear running in the run to the finish.

The Weapon (Riley Butt) Gave ground over the concluding stages.

The Harris Hawk (Brendan Barnes) Momentarily locked stays with the sulky of Bulldog Brawler on the turn into the front straight in the final lap

Bulldog Brawler (Taleah McMullen) Momentarily locked stays with The Harris Hawk approaching the turn into the front straight for the run to the finish.

Johnrod (Matt Elkins) Raced wide early stages to lead the one (1) wide line at approximately 1300 metres.
