Race 1 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE UP TO NR 70 HEAT 3 1780M
Luxury Lad (Angus Garrard) severely checked on the first turn and galloped when racing to the inside of Hector NZ which was progressing forward to its outside.
Hector NZ (Nathan Dawson) retired from the race in the front straight with a lap remaining when the inner tube wrapped around the near side tire.
Gottashopearly (Taleah McMullen) inclined to hang out at various stages of the race.
Brian Christopher NZ (Brendan Barnes) raced roughly in the front straight with a lap remaining when being attempted to shift to the inside at the same time Gottashopearly progressed forward to the inside.
General
Nathan Dawson (Hector NZ) pleaded guilty to a charge under AHR rule 165(1)(b) for failing to give sufficient clearance when crossing down in advance of Luxury Lad on the first turn which caused a contact to that gelding’s offside foreleg resulting in Luxury Lad galloping and losing all chance. It was noted the near side wheel of Hector NZ was punctured at this point and the horse was retired from the race when the tube fouled the sulky wheel after one lap. Nathan Dawson was suspended for 17 days and when assessing penalty, Stewards took into account Nathan Dawsons good record under this rule and his guilty plea.
Race 2 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE 2040M
Jilliby Jackpot (Angus Garrard) inclined to hang in under pressure and contacted marker pegs on the final turn.
Jacks N Jazz NZ (Zac Chappenden) broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will continue to be drawn wide in future mobile starts. Galloped free of interference at the 300 metres and lost further ground. Jack N Jazz will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
Race 3 - ELDERS WOODFORD PACE 1780M
Ashlee Nitro (Nathan Dawson) checked when held up behind the tiring Regal Nightshade on the final turn.
Fearless Faith (Grant Dixon) hung in despite the efforts of its driver and caused interference to Courageous Sam at the 300 metres. Fearless Faith will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
Courageous Sam (Chloe Butler) severely checked and galloped at the 300 metres when Fearless Faith hung in.
Allambie (Brendan Barnes) held up for clear running on the final turn.
Faireachdainn (Nathan Dawson) inclined to hang in under pressure.
Race 4 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT LEONARD CAIN PACE 1780M
Marianna Bromac NZ (Wayne Waltisbuhl) hung in under pressure and contacted two marker pegs in the back straight on the final occasion.
Race 5 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE 1780M
Perfect Feeling (John Kerr) raced three wide in the early stages before progressing forward to race outside the leader. Gave ground in the concluding stages as a result.

Race 6 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER AILEEN SMITH PACE 1780M
Trioli (Matt Crone) raced three wide in the early stages and was unsuccessful in obtaining a forward position which resulted in the mare being restrained to the rear of the field and tiring over the concluding stages.
