Race 1 - TAB VENUE MODE PACE      2040M

Il Maximus (Leonard Cain) Inconvenienced when No Doubt broke gate at approximately 1300 metres. Inconvenienced when Oyster Stride gave ground in the side straight in the final lap.

Blackjack Bart(Luke Whittaker) Hung in after the start and a warning was issued.

No Doubt NZ(Shane Graham) Broke gait in the front straight with 1700 metres remaining and a last chance to race truly was placed on the gelding.

Oyster Stride (Adam Richardson) Raced wide mid stages to lead the one (1) wide line before giving ground over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind and a veterinary certificate of soundness will be required before racing again.

Race 2 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE           2040M

Beach On Fire (Nathan Dawson) When endeavouring to ease the gelding in the front straight in approximately 1800 metres remaining Beach On Fire contacted its own sulky which resulted in the gelding over racing and as a result the gelding failed to run on over the concluding stages.

Melton Insulted (Taleah McMullen) Shifted in and contacted a marker peg on the turn into the back straight in the final lap. The mare was inconvenienced in the side straight in the final lap when Beach On Fire yielded ground.

Johnrod (Matt Elkins) Led the three wide line from the bell lap.

Race 3 - ELDERS WOODFORD PACE  1780M

London Lady (Mathew Neilson) Had a tenancy to hang in thoughout the event.

General:          Driver Angus Garrard (Motu Amethust NZ) was fined $200 for using the whip in an unapproved manner in the early stages of the front straight in the run to the finish. (AHRR 156(2)a.

Race 4 - FASTEST LAST QUARTER IN OCTOBER CANT BLUFF YOU 27.7 PACE        1780M

Marianna Bromac NZ (Chloe Butler) Shifted in and contacted a marker peg approaching the turn out of the back straight in the final lap.

Cheetah Lodge (Nathan Dawson) Three (3) wide early then worked forward to lead the one (1) wide line.

Race 5 - CUP DAY AT THE BAY FINAL            1780M

Getaloadathisbro (Dan Russell) Caught wide early then worked forward to lead the one (1) wide line wide.

General:          A post race veterinary examination was conducted on Getaloadathisbro which after being caught wide worked forward to lead the one (1) wide line before yielding ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 69 metres. A veterinary examination failed to detect any abnormalities. Stewards noted the circumstances.

Race 6 - DRIVER OF THE NIGHT TALEAH MCMULLEN  1 WIN PACE            1780M

Tori Be (Matt Elkins) Gave ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Doolittle Days (Chloe Butler) Led the one (1) wide line before obtaining a trail when Akermanis raced wide to lead the outside line at approximately the 900 metres.

Biddaddaba Boy (Adam Sanderson) Inconvenienced in the side straight in the final lap when Tori Be yielded ground.

Akermanis (Bradley Forge) Raced wide middle stages to lead the one (1) wide line from approximately 950 metres.

Race 7 - GARRARDS HERE ON TRACK MAIDEN PACE          1780M

Major Paint (Ricky Gordon) Raced erratically approaching the turn into the front straight and contacted a marker peg.

Payout (Adam Sanderson) Tightened for room on the turn into the front straight in the run to the finish.

Ghost Train (Matt Crone) Shifted in approaching the turn into the front straight in the final lap and contacted a marker peg. A warning was issued.

Delight Of Rani (Chloe Butler) Caught wide early before working forward to lead the one (1) wide line.

Candy Striper (Matt Elkins) Hung in in the score up and a warning was issued. The filly broke as the start was affected and will be drawn wide in future mobile events.

Village Smirker (Bradley Forge) Hung in and contacted marker pegs in the back straight in the first lap of the event. The gelding contacted marker pegs in the side straight in the final lap. A warning was issued.

General:          Stewards delayed the all clear to determine wheather Payout (A. Sanderson) placed third by the judge received any material advantage when contacting marker pegs on the turn into the front straight for the run to the finished. Stewards were satisfied that Ghost Train shifted in and contacted a marker peg then Major Paint which was trailing contacted a marker peg with Payout following the same line. Stewards were satisfied that Payout was tightened on to the marker pegs and the judges placings were confirmed.

Race 8 - MEMBERS DRAW WINNER LYNETTE RYAN PACE   1780M

No racing incidents.

Race 9 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE    1780M

Tulhurst Cuddles (David McKenzie) Led the three wide line up from the 950 metres approximately.

Trioli (Matt Crone) Three wide with cover from the 950 metres approximately.

General:          Stewards queried driver Jonah Hutchinson (Matai Reactor) in relation to the driving tactics adopted on Matai Reactor over the final 400 metres of the event. Mr Hutchinson explained that in the side straight in the final lap Beef City Starzzz (P. Greig) commenced to yield ground in front of   Matai Reactor then worked one off the peg line. Mr Hutchinson was of the opinion that he would be able to gain an inside run once gaining an advantage Beef City Starzzz however Beef City Starzzz held its ground on the home turn and as a consequence Matai Reactor was unable to secure a clear run in the front straight and went to the line untested. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 10 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE         1780M

Fancy Like Barbie (Chloe Butler) Hung in and contacted a marker peg on the turn out of the front straight in the first lap. Held up for a clear run in the run to the finish.

Shoobee Right (Shane Graham) Which was having its first race start hung in in the back straight in the first lap.
