Supplementary Report:

Stewards approved a late driving change on Bustn Feelz Good (Race 4) from Nicole Hanrahan to Chloe Butler due to Ms Hanrahan being unable to fulfill the engagement due to ill health. Ms Hanrahan will require a medical clearance before resuming race driving.

Stewards noted the intended tactics from trainers with multiple runners in the one race

Race 1 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION PACE  1780M

Bella Bronski (Chloe Butler)– Examined by Veterinarian prior to the race after concerns were raised with the horses’ gait during the preliminary. After examination, the mare was cleared to start.

Tracer Bullet (Angus Garrard) -Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Western Showgirl (Pete McMullen)– Overraced and contacted the sulky of Sharp Shooter when the pace of the race steadied near the 1400 m.

Race 2 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT PACE  1780M

Betting Baron (Zac Chappenden)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 3 - POWER UP LAWN MOWERS PACE  2040M

Onya Doug (Shane Graham)– Driver Shane Graham was reminded of his obligations not to move his foot in a downward direction from the sulky footrest when activating gear near 200 m.

Royal Princess (Pete McMullen)- Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Shesherz (Zac Chappenden)– Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. The mare will continue to be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events. Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Race 4 - WOOLLAM CONSTRUCTIONS PACE  1780M

Lady Allegra (Rickie Alchin)– Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. Raced wide in the middle stages of the event and worked forward to the position outside of the leader near the 900 m.

Butcherfeelgood (Matt Elkins)– Raced wide without cover over the final 800 m

Lesvos Lad (Shane Graham)– Raced roughly for a short distance when being manoeuvred down towards the sprint lane on the home turn.

Race 5 - STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE PACE  1780M

Living Free (Angus Garrard)– Driver fined setting slow sectional time when leading. R.162(1)(y) Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 300 m.

Dartesian (Trent Hodges)– Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 600 m and again near the 200 m.

General: Angus Garrard (Living Free) was fined $100 for, when leading, failing to comply with the required time standard. It was noted the first half of the last mile was run in 65.5 seconds. (R.162(1)(y)).

Race 6 - HYGAIN FEEDS PACE  1780M

Camroller (Ashleigh Delosa)– Struck its own sulky when with hind legs causing horse to overrace and pull hard. Driver fined failing to comply with direction. (R.238). Broke gait on the home turn. Given the horse's previous good record in this regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Mister Hart (Zac Chappenden)–Tyre punctured after the event. Driver fined unapproved whip use.

General: Ashleigh Delosa (Camroller), placed 4th, was fined $100 for failing to comply with the requirement to return to the All clear area after the race. (R.238). In determining the matter Stewards were mindful that such requirement had been addressed with Ms Delosa previously.

Zac Chappenden (Mister Hart) was fined $200 for striking the gelding with the whip after the finish of the event. (R.156(3)).

Race 7 - NORTH LAKES SIGNS PACE  1780M

Ima Calvert Rose (Tr) (Zac Chappenden)– Broke gait shortly after the start. The mare will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Many Delights (Dexter Mclean) – Inconvenienced after the start when Ima Calvert Rose broke. Raced wide over the final 800 m.

Wavedancer (Pete McMullen)– Inconvenienced after the start when Ima Calvert Rose broke.

Race 8 - NORTHGATE COMFORT INN PACE  1780M

Baby Ginnie (Trent Hodges)– Driver fined unapproved whip use. (R.156(2)).

Jukebox Jet (David Stewart) – Back In Draw (mobile events)

General: Trent Hodges (Baby Ginnie) was fined $200 for using his whip in an unapproved manner over the final 200 m of the event. (R.156(2)).
