RACE 1  HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY JULIE-ANN PACE – 1609MS

WEEROONA BOY – Utilised the sprint lane when it became available and was fully tested in the final straight

ABSTRACTOR – Had difficulty finding a clear run between the 300 metres and the 150 metres of the event, but when clear was fully tested in the run to the finish.

WHITESTARCHRISTIAN – Driver J. Kittel was fined $100.00 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with more than a flicking motion.

RACE 2  GANNONS SPORTSWEAR & TROPHIES PACE – 2050MS

WITH AUTHORITY – Gave ground over the final 300 metres of the event to eventually be beaten 49.0 metres, placed on its last chance to race competitively.

ULTIMATE TROUBLE – Retired from the event near the 1000 metres, a post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. In accordance with Rule 101C(2)(a) the mare was stood down for 14 days, an ECG and one satisfactory re-qualifying trial.

LIBERTY TEE JAY – Utilised the sprint lane when it became available and was fully tested in the final straight

RACE 3  ALLWOOD STUD PACE  – 1609MS

TRIGGER – Utilised the sprint lane when it became available and was fully tested in the final straight.

RACE 4  LAUKE MILLS PACE  – 1609MS

GLACIER HEIGHTS – Inconvenienced as the field raced into the first turn when FOOTLOCK crossed with minimal clearance.

FOOTLOCK – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to the fact the gelding raced at Globe Derby Park yesterday, was passed fit to run. Driver R. Hryhorec was reprimanded under Rule 165(1)(b) for crossing with minimal clearance over GLACIER HEIGHTS as the field raced into the first turn. He was also fined $100.00 under Rule 162(1)(y) for failing to adhere to minimal sectional times by running the first half of the last mile in 65.5, when the minimum required time is 64.0

ILLAWONG KIM – Had a tendency to over-race when racing in a trailing position.

LASSETER SHANNON – Fractious in the score up and was out of position when the start was effected, will continue to be drawn wide in mobile start events.

RACE 5  BARASTOC PACE – 1609MS

ALAKAZAM – Utilised the sprint lane when it became available and was fully tested in the final straight.

RACE 6  MCMAHON SERVICES PACE 1609MS

RILEY JAY – Wanted to shift out near the 200 metres and when driver R. Hryhorec attempted to straighten the gelding it over corrected and hung in making contact with several marker pegs and raced awkwardly as a consequence, a warning was issued.

BRAVO MAC – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected, will be drawn wide in mobile start events.

BOHEMIAN BRAIDS – Checked shortly after the start was effected when BRAVO MAC broke gait when racing on its inside.

WOO HOO LOU – Out of position when the start was effected, a warning was issued. Inconvenienced shortly after the start was effected when BRAVO MAC broke gait when racing in advance of him.

KUHIO CREST – Inconvenienced shortly after the start was effected when BRAVO MAC broke gait when racing in advance of him.

TUSCAN DELIGHT – Driver D. Girardi was reprimanded under Rule 163(1)(c)(iii) for contacting marker pegs, Stewards issued the reprimand even though the runner in advance of him also made contact with the pegs, as they believed D. Girardi should have been more aware of where he was situated on the track.

LITTLE BAY ENGINE – At the request of connections, re-instated in the mobile barrier draw.
