RACE 1 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 2040 metres

ART LEGEND– Galloped out when the start was affected.  A warning was issued.

SIX TIMES A LADY NZ– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres.

MITTYS THREE ACES NZ– Post-race swab sample was taken.

AMERICAN SHUFFLE NZ– Pre-race blood sample was taken.  Broke stride in the early stages of the score up for a short distance.  Raced three wide from the 800 metres with cover before being checked passing the 700 metres when DYSLEXIC NZ had broken stride.

THE ROGUE I AM– Had a tendency to over race during the early stages of the event. 

DYSLEXIC NZ– Raced three wide from the 900 metres without cover before becoming unbalanced and breaking stride passing the 700 metres.  The gelding was given its last chance to race truly.

WILLIES DOLLAR– Broke stride shortly after the start was affected.  The filly will continue to be placed outside the mobile barrier draw in future starts.  Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1400 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1100 metres.

 

RACE 2 – SUPPORT EUGOWRA APPEAL PACE – 1660 metres

QUEEN ELSA– Became unbalanced before breaking stride in the latter stages of the score up and was out of position resulting in a false start being declared.  A warning was issued.

QUESTRO QUEEN NZ– Post-race swab sample was taken.

MISTER STUBBS– Pre-race blood sample was taken. 

BEN DETTO– Had a tendency to over race throughout the middle stages of the event. 

WEONA MISS FORTUNE– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1400 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1000 metres.

TACKAS PRINCESS– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position behind the leader passing the 1200 metres.  Held up for clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 3 – CLARINDA PARK IT PACE – 2040 metres

HOLY CAMP CAPRHYSE– Pre-race blood sample was taken. 

RUSTY MCCOOL– Post-race swab sample was taken.

ITSALLABOUTNED– Locked wheels and checked for a short distance entering the home straight on the final occasion with CHRISTIANO ROSE when that runner hung in slightly.

REASON TO PARTY– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres.

DEBRA JEAN– Raced three wide for the final 850 metres with cover.

CHRISTIANO ROSE– Hung in slightly rounding the home turn and as result entering the home straight on the final occasion locked wheels with ITSALLABOUTNED for a short distance.

LYNTON CREEK NZ– Raced rough passing the 700 metres.  A warning was issued.

MIGHTY ATOM– Had a tendency to over race throughout the middle stages of the event.  Raced three wide for the final 900 metres without cover.

 

RACE 4 – QUICKSHINE CARWASH PACE – 1660 metres

EURO BEAT NZ– Post-race swab sample was taken.

DAGGY LAMB NZ– Pre-race blood sample was taken. 

OUR PRINCESS KENNEDY NZ– Inconvenienced from the 300 metres to the 200 metres when caught behind JOETOMO when that runner commenced to give ground.

JOETOMO– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1400 metres.  Tired over the final 400 metres to be beaten some distance.

 

RACE 5 – WARATAH HEAT – 1660 metres

WHOS MY MOTHER NZ– Post-race swab sample was taken.

TULHURST WRITER– Held up for clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested. 

SUBSTITOOTH – Hung in shortly after the start was affected.  Driver J O’Shea was cautioned for the manner in which he applied his whip after the start.

THE HUSTLER NZ– Raced rough shortly after the start was affected and as a result was caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres.

VALENTEENO– Held up for clear running in the home straight on the final occasion and not fully tested.

TULHURST TERROR– A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having had over 200 lifetime starts.  No abnormalities were reported on either examination.

GIRL JUST FLY– Hung in under pressure rounding the home turn on the final occasion and contacted a marker peg.

WESTERN BILL– Raced three wide for the final 800 metres with cover.

SWEET ANNIE NZ– Pre-race blood sample was taken.  Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before obtaining a position in the running line passing the 1500 metres.  Raced three wide for the final 800 metres without cover.

 

RACE 6 – DWYERS CONTRACTING PACE – 1660 metres

NEGATIVE NANCY– Pre-race blood sample was taken.  Post-race swab sample was taken.

TOUGH TALKS– Became unbalanced before breaking stride passing the 700 metres.  A warning was issued.

MISTER MANAGER– Became unbalanced before breaking stride passing the 600 metres.  A warning was issued.

EXTORTION– Checked passing the 600 metres when MISTER MANAGER had broken stride. 

KARINYA GILL– Checked passing the 600 metres when MISTER MANAGER had broken stride.  At the request of connections the gelding will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts. 

 

RACE 7 – TELESCOPE TYRES 3YO MAIDEN PACE – 2040 metres

TENEACHWAY– Had a tendency to over race throughout the middle stages of the event.

PRINCESS POPSICLE NZ– Pre-race blood sample was taken.  Surrendered the lead in the middle stages of the event passing the 1600 metres.  Post-race swab sample was taken.

ONYA SONYA– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1600 metres.

TORQUE NO FEAR– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1800 metres.

SASSY SWINGER– Raced three wide for the final 800 metres without cover.

OUR ULTIMATE RUBY– Raced three wide for the final 850 metres without cover.  At the request of connections the filly will be placed back in the mobile barrier draw in future starts. 

BELLRIVERGIRL– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1600 metres.

 

RACE 8 – BETTA HOME LIVING PARKES MAIDEN PACE – 1660 metres

SOLDTOYOUSIR– Pre-race blood sample was taken. 

JIMMYMCCHOWE– Post-race swab sample was taken.

BRADNESS FOLSOM– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1500 metres before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres.

 

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT – PARKES – Friday, 28 October 2022

RACE 5 – DEANS HYDRAULICS PACE – 1660 metres

LETS GET SHORTY– Driver N Townsend received a reprimand under AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner down to the marker pegs passing the 1500 metres when not sufficiently clear of THE HUSTLER NZ.  Driver N Townsend received a reprimand under AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) for shifting his runner out to obtain clear running entering the home straight on the final occasion when not sufficiently clear of POCKET BOOK NZ.  Driver N Townsend was found guilty of a charge under AHRR 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion in more than an wrist only flicking motion.  N Townsend was fined the sum of $200.  An inquiry into the reasons N Townsend failed to attend a Stewards inquiry was adjourned to a date yet to be fixed.
