G Edwards stated that the gelding had a tendency to race roughly through the first turn resulting in G Edwards being unable to obtain a position in the running line and driving the gelding forward at that point. JAYJAYBENNY then failed to muster enough speed to obtain the position outside the leader leaving the 1000 metres and G Edwards believed that it would have been detrimental to the gelding’s chances to restrain to the tail of the field at that point.
