RACE 1 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 2125 metres

BILLY GLANVILL– Pre-race blood samples were obtained.

CHEETAH LODGE– Raced three wide during the early stages before crossing to obtain the position outside of the leader.

HOT WIRE– Inclined to overrace due to the slow tempo during the middle stages.

HIGHLY RESPECTED– Inclined to overrace due to the slow tempo during the middle stages.

GEE EF CEE– Post-race swab samples were obtained.

 

RACE 2 – LIVE SINGER @ CLUB PACEWAY JUN 18 PACE – 1720 metres

FLYING PEGASUS– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.  Had difficulty securing clear running until obtaining an inside run approaching the 100 metres.

CLEMENTSORRELL– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.

BLUE SUEDE ROCKA– Shifted out when placed under pressure over the final 130 metres.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

ART OF GRANGE– Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

MONEY HONEY NZ– Unable to secure clear running at any stage of the home and was not fully tested.

DON KEE– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.  Had difficulty securing clear running until approaching the 50 metres.

 

RACE 3 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres

TOP TRIO– Weakened over the concluding stages.

BREVITY– Post-race swab samples were obtained.

THE DAMAGE DONE– Broke gait during the score up.  In view of its recent record a warning was issued.

TOP THE ACE– When negotiating the first turn was inclined to race roughly.  Tired over the concluding stages.

NEWSY NZ– Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

 

RACE 4 – FUEL GIVEAWAY @ CLUB PACEWAY JUN 25 PACE – 2125 metres

MUSTANG MILLY– Pre-race blood samples were obtained. 

MY ULTIMATE RONNIE– Raced three wide during the early stages before working forward to the lead.  Inclined to hang out when placed under pressure approaching the 100 metres.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

TEAM OF STARZZZ– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected. 

YUKO NZ– Unable to secure clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

RACE 5 – TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 1720 metres

MY TWO EVES– Approaching the 1500 metres had to be checked away from CANONLYBEONESIR.  Driver M Forrest pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that approaching the 100 metres when attempting to secure clear running, he shifted MY TWO EVES out when not clear of MISS AEYLA resulting in that runner being contacted and taken out onto ROGERVALERIO LOMBO which in turn caused MISS AEYLA to be severely checked and lose its rightful running.  In assessing penalty consideration was given to M Forrest’s plea and overall driving record.  In addition, consideration was given to the significant degree of interference and high degree of carelessness displayed by M Forrest.  M Forrest had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 28 days.

CANONLYBEONESIR– Approaching the 1500 metres was placed in severely restricted room by BEE OKAY which shifted in resulting in CANONLYBEONESIR having to be checked and breaking gait.  A post-race veterinary examination of CANONLYBEONESIR revealed no obvious abnormalities. 

BEE OKAY– Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Driver N Xuereb pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that approaching the 1500 metres he permitted BEE OKAY to shift down the track to obtain the lead when not clear of CANONLYBEONESIR and as a result that runner was placed in severely restricted racing room at which point it was checked and broke gait losing it chance in the event.  In assessing penalty consideration was given to N Xuereb’s guilty plea, overall driving record and the degree of interference.  N Xuereb had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 21 days.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

ROGERVALERIO LOMBO– Passing the 100 metres had to be steadied away from MISSAEYLA which was checked.

MISS AEYLA– Near the 100 metres was contacted by MY TWO EVES which shifted out resulting in MISS AEYLA being placed in severely restricted racing room between that runner and ROGERVALERIO LOMBO and subsequently MISS AEYLA was severely checked and lost its rightful running.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

YARRAMAN MARKLE– Broke gait during the score up and was out of position at the start.  In view of its recent record YARRAMAN MARKLE will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

 

RACE 6 – SWAPMEAT @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND JUNE 26 PACE – 1720 metres

OURSURFINSAFARI – Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained.

JUSTADIVA– Improved three wide during the middle stages to obtain the position outside of the leader.

 

RACE 7 – JAZZ SATURDAY JULY 2^ND PACE – 1720 metres

REAL DUTCHESS– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.  Tired over the concluding stages to be beaten 55.1 metres.

WAR WESTERN– Pre-race blood samples were obtained.  Post-race swab samples were obtained. 

LETHAL STAR NZ– Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as per HRNSW’s animal welfare guidelines.  No abnormalities were detected.

MODERN MILEY– Had a tendency to hang in throughout the event.

KOBYS DELIGHT– Slow to begin.  Will be re-included in the mobile barrier draw.
