RACE 1 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY LADYSHIP PACE – 1720 metres

BEAUTY PLAY – Pre race blood test.

TIGERLICIOUS– Over raced at various stages of the event.

CAPTN ME– Post race swab.

REASONFORAGRANGE – Driver Lucas Rando was fined $50 under rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the starting gait.

HIGHLY RESPECTED– Driver Ashley Hart was fined $50 under 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain her position behind the starting gait.

PALLEKELE- Pre race blood test. Broke after the start for which a warning was issued. Became unbalanced and broke gait twice, firstly passing the 400 metres and again over the concluding stages in the home straight. In view of the filly’s recent record PALLEKELE will be required to perform one re – qualifying trial. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be mildly lame in the near side hind and acting on veterinary advice PALLEKELE will now be stood down pending a veterinary clearance.

 

RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE – 1720 metres

BARA RILEY- Over raced at various stages of the event.

WAR WESTERN– Caught wide in the early stages before being restrained to last passing the 1250 metres.

CANONLYBEONESIR- Pre race blood test. Over raced at various stages of the event.

FOXY DADA– Stewards had concerns with the whip use of driver Brian Portelli over the concluding stages. As Mr Portelli had left the course stewards intend to speak to Mr Portelli in the near future.

LOUISIANA FREEDOM– Pre race blood test. Post race swab.

RACE 2 – SKY RACING ACTIVE PACE

FOXY DADA – Driver Brian Portelli was fined $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in more than a wrist only flicking motion over the concluding stages of the event.

 

RACE 3 – DJ BRINX @ CLUB PACEWAY JUL 23 PACE – 2125 metres

TEAM OF STARZZZ – A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre race blood test.

FLYING CIRCLES NZ- Pre race blood test. Post race swab.

POLKA DELIGHT NZ–Worked forward to find the lead passing the 1950 metres.

PLEASE SHUDDUP NZ– Broke in the early stages of the score up and will be continued out of the draw in mobile starts. Commenced to improve three wide passing the 1900 metres before finding the lead passing the 1500 metres.

 

RACE 4 – BARRY R DOLLIN PACE – 1720 metres

SIR RICHARD LEE – Post race swab.

CLEMENTSORRELL– A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Raced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start for which a warning was issued.

WAR CLUB– Pre race blood test.

SILLY SID- Pre race blood test.

FLYING PEGASUS- A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 5 – SAVE PENRITH HARNESS RACING CLUB PACE – 1720 metres

MINIMUM WAGE – Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested. MAJOR STATEMENT – Showed gate speed before working forward to find the lead passing the 1200 metres.

NEWSY NZ– Pre race blood test. Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find the position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY NZ- A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Pre race blood test. The gelding had a tendency to over race at various stages of the event.

MAJOR JAROD- Post race swab.

 

RACE 6 – NATIONAL TROTGUIDE PACE – 1720 metres

CHRISSYSCREEK– Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

JACKS UP-Pre race blood test.

TONY SLOY– Upon entering the home straight on the final occasion, hung out under pressure and as result placed CLASSIC GRANGE into restricted room.

ETIZ MODEL– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find the position behind the leader at the 1400 metres. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

CLASSIC GRANGE- Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find the position outside the leader passing the 1500 metres. Tightened for room upon entering the home straight on the final occasion as a result of TONY SLOY hanging out under pressure.

WITHOUT DOUBT- Pre race blood test. Post race swab.

CHEETAH LODGE– Commenced to improve three wide passing the 1600 metres before finding a position in the running line passing the 1200 metres.

 

RACE 7 – SAVE PENRITH SHOWGROUND PACE – 1720 metres

MISS AEYLA - Post race swab.

FANTASY REACTOR- Pre race blood test.

BELLE OF BELMONT NZ– Hung in at various stages of the event and was unable to be fully tested for which a warning was issued.

YARRAMAN MARKLE– Worked forward in the early stages of the event before finding the position outside the leader passing the 1500 metres.

MY BELLE AND ME- Pre race blood test. Trainer Elizabeth Heath was fined the sum of $50 under rule 210 for failing to advise Sean Grayling as the driver of the mare by the prescribed time. Driver Sean Grayling was fined $50 under rule 162(1)(j) for failing to maintain his position behind the starting gait.

DESERTA – Driver Jake Bigeni was fined $50 under rule 162(1)(h) for failing to come up into his position.

RACE 7 – APG RECORD BREAKING YEAR GOLD BULLION SERIES 32 2YO C&G FINAL – 1609 metres

SWEETHART BART– Kerryann Morris pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for unapproved whip use, in that she applied the whip to the colt in a manner that was considered not to be a wrist only flicking motion. After considering the recent record of Mrs Morris, in addition to the Group 1 status of the event, she was fined $400.
