RACE 1 – LOVICK FABRICATION TROT (2185MS)
GOODTIME PE RABBIT (C. Lewis) - Driver advised that the gelding had a tendency to lay inwards when racing wide from the 1000m. A post-race veterinary examination of the unplaced gelding revealed no abnormalities.
ROCK TONIGHT NZ (N. Johns) - Broke an offside spreader in the early stages of the race causing a disadvantage to the gelding throughout running.
RACE 2 – ACCESS CLEANING FILLIES & MARES PACE (2185MS)
General- Driver P. Tilbrook was interviewed for the reason he elected to move from a position in the one out line to race three wide at the 1000m, with the gelding then giving ground from the 600m. He advised that SWEET SUZIE (C. Brown) who he had been following had started to give ground prior to the 1000m and felt his best option was to attempt to gain a position in advance of that mare. However, this did not eventuate when SWEET SUSIE was able to hold its position when been urged along by its driver leaving him racing three wide for the remainder of the race. After considering all evidence tendered stewards accepted his explanation.
RACE 3 – TEAM BOND RACING 4YO+ PACE (1684MS)
SECRET JAMES (A. De Campo) - Raced roughly shortly after the start.
RODGER JAMES (C. Voak) –Hung inwards racing into the front straight on the final occasion placing the driver at a disadvantage when attempting to shift outwards , continue to lay inwards in the straight. A warning was issued on the horses racing manner.
RACE 4 – NK & J GRANT SMASH REPAIRS 3YO PACE DIV. 2 (2185MS)
NEVER FORGET ADDA (M. Young) – Broke gait in the early stages of the score up causing MISTERPICCOLO (C .Brown) to be checked and break gait, resulting in a false start being declared. NEVER FORGET ADDA will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events.

TARTAN ROBYN NZ (C. Voak) - A Post Race Veterinary Examination of the unplaced gelding revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised he would monitor the gelding’s recovery and report any abnormalities.
CALL TO ARMS (D. Miller) - Driver was reprimanded under rule R168(1)(a) for careless driving for making contact to the sulky of JILL MACH (M. Young) causing the gelding to race roughly which resulted in SIPPONONJACK (K.Harper) being inconvenienced racing in the front straight to receive the bell.
Stewards inquired into an incident racing towards the front straight on the final occasion where CALL TO ARMS (D. Miller) raced roughly when racing to the inside of RICH AMERICAN (E. Suvaljko). After considering evidence tended it was established that CALL TO ARMS shifted outwards marginally as RICH AMERICAN hung inwards despite the efforts of its driver, causing CALL TO ARMS to be tightened and race roughly. A warning was placed on the gelding for hanging inwards. Further, driver E. Suvaljko was told to ensure she makes every effort to prevent her drives from shifting ground in future.
SIPPINONJACK NZ (K. Harper) - A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which gave ground from the 600m, beaten 109m, revealed nothing amiss. Trainer was advised that due to the uncompetitive performance the gelding would be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such a time as the completion of one satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
RACE 9 – SOLID STATE WELDER REPAIRS PACE (2185MS)
The all clear was delayed ascertaining whether ADDA SOMETHING (J. Young) had shifted into the sprint lane on the final occasion. With no action being required all clear was given on the judge’s numbers.
FORBIDDEN JEWEL NZ (R. Warwick) - A Post-race veterinary examination of the unplaced mare revealed no abnormalities.
