RACE 1 – SKY RACING TROTTERS MOBILE - 2300metres

YOUNG SON – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after competing the previous day and was cleared to start.

HOTEL KYVALLEY – Near the 500 metres hung in and contacted a number of marker pegs.

TIGER TEE – Trainer K. Pizzuto was fined $100 under Rule 41(1) for presenting the filly late on course. Near the 300 metres became unbalanced and galloped. After considering evidence tendered by Trainer K. Pizzuto it was established that the bit had pulled through the mare’s mouth placing it at a disadvantage. In the circumstances the filly will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

CHARLIE THE GREAT – Slow to begin. Near the 600 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

STRENTH OF HEART NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Near the 200 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

MY DOUBLE DELIGHT – Pre-race blood sample. Trainer B. Fitzpatrick was fined $100 under Rule 41(1) for presenting the mare late on course.

QUEEN OF STRATHFIELD NZ – Post-race swab sample.

RACE 2 – AQUAGAIT EQUINE CENTRE TROTTERS MOBILE – 2300metres

LINDYS LOVE – Post-race swab sample.

AGENT MAORI – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

LAW LEGEND – Pre-race blood sample.

DONT TOUCH THIS – Near the 2000 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

SCENIC SKY – Near the 2000 metres was checked when DON’T TOUCH THIS broke.

FOX TROT HILL – Trainer J. Ogden was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for presenting the mare late on course.

PUMA ROAD NZ – Trainer R. Alchin was fined $50 under Rule 210 for late declaration of driver. Pre-race blood sample. Broke in the middle stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

CELTIC CASH – Out of position at the start and then near the 2200 metres became unbalanced and galloped. Will continue to be placed outside the draw in future mobile starts.

RACE 3 – FARMER JOES WHOLESALE PACE – 1609metres

BARA RILEY – Pre-race blood sample.

LADY DELIGHT – Driver J. McCarthy was cautioned for the manner in which he applied his whip in the home straight on the final occasion.

BETTA SHINE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to not competing for in excess of 12 months. Cleared to start.

 A REAL GENTLEMAN – Post-race swab sample.

KENNY SAID – Pre-race blood sample.

HIGHVIEW SADDLER – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination. Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

ENDLESS DRAMA – Will now be re-included in the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 4 – ACCESS GROUP SOLUTIONS PACE – 1609metres

BELLA CLARE – An inquiry into the whip use of Driver N. Xuereb was adjourned until Thursday 16^th June 2022 as N. Xuereb had left the course.

NITRO LAD – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding had competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

GENTLE GIANT – Post-race swab sample.

CHRONICLES – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 5 – FOR A REASON AT COBBITTY EQUINE LADYSHIP PACE – 1609metres

HEAVEN ISLAND – Pre-race blood sample.

ORCHID STRIDE – Broke in the early stages of the score up. A warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

KABIBI – Trainer J. Rattray was reprimanded under Rule 41(1) for presenting the mare late on course. Near the 300 metres shifted out and as a result, SOVIET STUNNER was inconvenienced. Driver J. Rattray was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

LOOKATTHEBEACH – Pre-race blood sample.

SOVIET STUNNER – Near the 300 metres inconvenienced when KABIBI shifted out.

RACE 6 – AGNES BANKS EQUINE CLINIC PACE – 1609metres

APHRODITE – Pre-race blood sample. Post-race swab sample.

JUST TOOTSIE – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the mare is 12 years old and has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

JOGALONG COOP – Out of position at the start despite the efforts of its driver. In view of the gelding’s record it will now be placed outside the draw in future mobile starts.

JEDI MIND – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

IMFEELINGIT – Pre-race blood sample.

RACE 7 – EVEKARE ASSISTED LIVING PACE – 1609metres

PRINCE SYNTAX – Driver L. Green pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion with more than a wrist only flicking motion. L. Green was fined $200.

CHANGE OF MIND – Underwent a pre and post-race veterinary examination as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

UNFAZED NZ – Pre-race blood sample.

CEE FOR COLIN – Pre-race blood sample. Driver G. Watts pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion without holding a rein in each hand. Driver G. Watts was fined $200. Driver G. Watts pleaded guilty to a further charge under Rule 156(2)(a) for applying his whip in the home straight on the final occasion with more than a wrist only flicking motion. Driver G. Watts was fined $200. Post-race swab sample.

RACE 8 – ALLIED EXPRESS SPECIALISED LOGISTICS PACE – 1609metres

UNCLE CHAN NZ – Post-race swab sample.

BURNS BAY – Pre-race blood sample. Near the 150 metres checked when racing between DELIGHTFULL JAZZ and BERTIE JONES NZ which shifted out slightly.

ALLSET NZ – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

ARE DOUBLEYOU – Near the 150 metres when held up for clear running was checked when racing between COURT ON THE EDGE NZ and BURNS BAY when BURNS BAY was checked and shifted out after being placed in restricted room between DELIGHTFULL JAZZ and BERTIE JONES NZ which shifted out. After considering all the evidence no action was taken against any driver.

BERTIE JONES NZ – Shifted out slightly near the 150 metres.

COURT ON THE EDGE NZ – Pre-race blood sample. Checked near the 150 metres when racing to the outside of ARE DOUBLEYOU.

 

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT – SATURDAY 11^TH JUNE 2022 – RACE 3

Trainer B Fitzpatrick reported (Tuesday 14^th) that PEARL HARBOUR had contracted a cold. He explained that he would now treat PEARL HARBOUR with a course of antibiotics and the mare would be freshened prior to her next start.
