RACE 1 – LAUNCESTON BELMONT– 1680 METRES

NOVA BAKER raced roughly after the start. A warning was issued.

GUENEVERES ANGEL was restrained to the rear of the field.

NOVA BAKER hung in and contacted a marker peg around the final time. A warning was issued.

BIG ENERGY hung out in the back straight the final time before hanging in under pressure in the home straight. A warning was issued.

PROMISE STRIDE hung out in the home straight before breaking free of interference and has been placed on her last chance to race truly.

RACE 2 – LADBROKES RACING CENTRE STAKES – 2200 METRES

DEADLY ASSASSIN was out of position at the start. Driver R Hadley was reprimanded for failing to maintain his position behind the mobile.

YATSENYUK LEIS underwent a post-race veterinary examination after tiring to be beaten in excess of 320 metres. No abnormalities were detected and the gelding has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

THE DUDE NZ gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 39 metres.

EQUITY STRIDE tired to be beaten in excess of 70 metres and has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.

DEADLY ASSASSIN was inconvenienced at the 900 metre mark.

DEADLY ASSASSIN hung in and contacted a marker peg around the final turn. A warning was issued.

ROCK ON PLAYBOY hung out under pressure in the home straight and has been placed on his last chance to race truly.

Driver S Edyvean was fined the sum of $100 after pleading guilty to a charge under AHRR168(1)(a) for careless driving. Particulars were that during the event he allowed EQUITY STRIDE to race onto the back of CAPTAIN COSMONAUT placing driver B Miller at a disadvantage and racing down the back straight the last time he allowed his horse to contact the tyre of YATSENYUK LEIS causing it to puncture

RACE 3 – FAITHFUL PARK STUD PACE1680 METRES

LESYA galloped shortly after the start and has been placed out of the draw in future mobile events.

MURRY had a tendency to hang in during the event. A warning was issued.

MIDNIGHT CALM was held up and unable to be fully tested.

After beginning satisfactorily VIGOROSO NZ has been reinstated in the mobile draw.

RACE 4 – TRAINERS ENCOURAGEMENT PACE2200 METRES

JACKSON NEPTUNE pulled hard during the event.

DELIGHTFUL JUNIE raced roughly in the home straight. A warning was issued.

Driver R Duggan was fined the sum of $100 after pleading guilty to a charge under AHRR168(1)(a). Particulars were that he allowed ARTYBOY GLENWOOD to progress into a gap in the home straight to the inside of KERMADEC when there was not a full run available, with ARTYBOY GLENWOOD breaking as a result.

Driver B Miller (NORTHVIEW DAVE NZ) was spoken to regarding the manner she shifted to a three wide position approaching the 900 metres which slightly inconvenienced JACKSON NEPTUNE. Miss Miller was advised to take more care in the future.

NORTHVIEW DAVE NZ underwent a post-race veterinary examination after tiring to be beaten in excess of 57 metres. No abnormalities were detected and the gelding was placed on his last chance to race competitively.

RACE 5 – VIZPIX BROADCAST SERVICES PACE2200 METRES

JUST TIGER broke shortly after the start and has been placed out of the draw in future mobile events.

MEZEREON hung out in the back straight the last time then was severely checked and broke when TOMMI BRULEE hung in and contacted her front legs.

TOMMI BRULEE raced erratically before being taken three wide and then commenced to pull hard. TOMMI BRULEE then hung in racing down the back straight the final time before tiring to be beaten in excess of 110 metres. After taking into account the overall manners of TOMMI BRULEE the gelding has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

RACE 6 –FOUR-YEAR-OLD AND FIVE YEAR OLD CLASSIC2200 METRES

ENDEAVOUR STRIDE pulled hard during the event

OUR BALOU and BOSTON BUSKER jostled for a short distance in the back straight the final time.

RACE 7 – IMPRESS PRINT PACE2200 METRES

All clear was held on this race as Driver D Ford, (BE MAJOR THREAT) indicated that he wished to view the official replay of the event. After viewing the films all clear was declared on the judges numbers.

EUREKA NZ was held up early before gaining clear running in the home straight.

After an inquiry into the reasons for BE MAJOR THREAT being checked and breaking racing into the first turn Driver M Yole was found guilty and suspended for a period of 2 race dates under AHRR163(1)(a)(iii). Particulars were that Mr Yole allowed his horse (DIAMONDS N CASH NZ) to shift down the track when not sufficiently clear of the front legs of BE MAJOR THREAT causing Driver D Ford to check his horse which then broke. Stewards took into account Mr Yole’s very good record under this rule when determining penalty.

RACE 8 – 6TY STAKES2200 METRES

ROCKNROLL WIZARD broke in the score up which caused a false start. ROCKNROLL WIZARD has been placed out of the draw in future mobile events.

STAR ROCKER was fractious in the score up and has been placed on his last chance in the mobile draw.

ROCKNROLL WIZARD hung in and raced greenly at various times during the event. A warning was issued.

DONT WRITE ME OFF NZ gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 49 metres.

RACE 9 – DAKIN REFRIGERATION STAKES2200 METRES

KENS CHIPS raced roughly in the home straight. A warning was issued.

CINOCAL JAMANE was held up early before gaining clear running in the home straight.

GOT THE GOODS was held up early before gaining clear running in the home straight.

HEZA RUMMAGE NZ was held up and unable to be fully tested.

DE MARCO BEACH underwent a post-race veterinary examination after tiring to be beaten in excess of 208 metres. The gelding was found to have suffered an atrial fibrillation and has been stood down for a period of 14 days and until receipt of a veterinary certificate which must include an ECG.  DE MARCO BEACH has also been stood down until completion of a satisfactory trial.

RACE 10 – ELDERSLIE HORSE CARE PACE2200 METRES

MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS NZ was fractious before the start and has been placed on its last chance in the mobile draw.

LIFEOFBRIAN NZ was out of position at the start.  No action was taken due to the very wet conditions.

RANIERI NZ was out of position at the start.  No action was taken due to the very wet conditions.

JUNIPER was out of position at the start.  No action was taken due to the very wet conditions.

PROFICIENT NZ was out of position at the start.  No action was taken due to the very wet conditions.

THE BIG DIG tired to be beaten in excess of 63 metres and has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.

ULTIMATE ME NZ raced roughly during the event and has been placed on its last chance to race truly.

JOHN RICHARD tired to be beaten in excess of 64 metres and has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.
