RACE 1 –JUSTIN ALBURY COMMINICATIONS TROTTERS MOBILE – 1710 metres

YOUNG SON– Broke after the start for which a warning was issued.

SUGAR HIGH– Pre-race blood sample.

STRENGTH OF HEART NZ– Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined the sum $100 under Rule 210 for failing to advise David Morris as the driver of the gelding by the prescribed time.

PHARISEE– Pre-race blood sample.

QUEEN OF STRATHFIELD– Worked forward to find the lead passing the 1450 metres. Hung out throughout the event and hung out under pressure for which a warning was issued. Post-race swab sample.

FLASH KYVALLEY– Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. In view of the gelding’s recent record FLASH KYVALLEY will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw.

SHOULDA BEABARCA– Out of position at the start and will be continued out of the draw in mobile starts. Commenced to tire passing the 800 metres being beaten 126 metres for which a warning was issued. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

 

RACE 2 –NUTRIEN AG SOLUTIONS GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

KNOCKOUT TYSON– Pre-race blood sample.

MAJOR JAMANE– Fractious in the early part of the score up for which a warning was issued.

WINAMOTZA– Post-race swab sample.

NOTMUCHUPTOP– Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 3 – CRUST GOURMET PIZZA GOULBURN PACE – 1710 metres

MAVIS GLORY– Raced roughly before breaking gait passing the 600 metres. In view of the filly only having its third race start, MAVIS GLORY will be required to perform 1 requalifying trial.

SPOT ON CHIC– A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the mare having not started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Hung out passing the 900 metres. Driver Josh Gallagher was questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance of the mare in today’s event. Mr Gallagher could offer no explanation as it was the first time he had driven the mare. Post-race swab sample.

LATIN DANCER– Driver Paul Sapio was issued a reprimand under Rule 168(1)(a) for careless driving in that he allowed the colt to shift inside and contact marker pegs over the concluding stages.

DREAM TO DANCE– Pre-race blood sample. Broke gait shortly after the start and in view of the mare having its first race start will be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Worked forward to the lead passing the 1250 metres.

RIPSTONE SNORTER– Pre-race blood sample. Checked after the start as a result of DREAM TO DANCE breaking gait. Caught wide in the early stages before working forward to find a position outside the leader passing the 1150 metres.

CATCHINGCONFIDENCE– Inconvenienced at the 600 metres as a result of MAVIS GLORY breaking gait. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before racing roughly and becoming unbalanced and breaking gait passing the 75 metres for which a warning was issued.

MORRIS BROWN- A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having not started for in excess of 12 months. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities. Checked and raced roughly as a result of MAVIS GLORY breaking gait at the 600 metres.

IDEAL HEAVEN– Inconvenienced passing the 600 metres as a result of MAVIS GLORY breaking gait. Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

MEADOW BLUE CHIP– Checked passing the 600 metres as a result of MAVIS GLORY breaking gait.

 

RACE 4 – HOLLINGWORTH CRANE HIRE SERVICE PACE – 1710 metres

NONE GRATER– Pre-race blood sample.

GRAFFITI LANE– Galloped out for which a warning was issued. Checked passing the 1300 metres as a result of GUILTY PARTY breaking gait.

LITTLE CESSNA– Inconvenienced passing the 1200 metres as a result of GUILTY PARTY breaking gait. Commenced to tire passing the 600 metres before being beaten 41.4 metres.

EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI– Driver Andrew Towers pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that passing the 1300 metres he has allowed EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI to shift down the track when not sufficiently clear of GUILTY PARTY causing that runner to be checked and break. Driver Andrew Towers had his licence to drive in races suspended for a period of 14 days to commence midnight 31 October 2022. In assessing penalty Stewards considered Mr Towers plea, record in relation to the rule and the circumstances of this incident.

BIG SHADOW– Trainer KerryAnn Morris was fined the sum $100 under Rule 210 for failing to advise Josh Gallagher as the driver of the colt by the prescribed time. Worked forward before finding the lead passing the 1300 metres. Post-race swab sample.

GUILTY PARTY– Pre-race blood sample. Checked and broke passing the 1200 metres when EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI was moving down the track when not sufficiently clear to do so.

 

RACE 5 – BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS NSW 2YO PACE - 1710 metres

THOMAS ROYAL– Driver James Locke was spoken to about his left foot slipping from the sulky rest momentarily passing the 200 metres.

DOUBLE SAID– Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. In view of the gelding having its third race start DOUBLE SAID will now be excluded from the mobile barrier draw. Became unbalanced and broke gait passing the 300 metres. In view of the gelding’s recent record DOUBLE SAID will be stood down for a period of 14 days and two requalifying trials.

VINETTE– Inconvenienced passing the 1300 metres as a result of the pace easing from the race.

FIRE UP LEXY– Inconvenienced passing the 1300 metres as a result of the pace easing from the race.

REASON BEING– Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced passing the 1300 metres as a result of the pace easing from the race. Inconvenienced passing the 300 metres as a result of DOUBLE SAID breaking gait.

MITCHELLS RUN– Post-race swab sample.

OHANA DANCER– Pre-race blood sample. Inconvenienced passing the 1300 metres as a result of the pace easing from the race.

 

RACE 6 – HRNSW GUARANTEED LADYSHIP PACE – 1710 metres

FULL OF WISDOM- Commenced to tire passing the 1400 metres to beaten 61 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be mildly lame in the off side foreleg. Acting on veterinary advice FULL OF WISDOM will be stood down pending a veterinary clearance.

KATLAS DREAM– Pre-race bold sample. Post-race swab sample.

MONEY HONEY NZ– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1100 metres.

FLYING BANYULA– Pre-race blood sample.

 

RACE 7 – TOP WATER CARTERS CROOKWELL PACE - 1710 metres

LAST TIME JOE– Pre-race blood sample.  Raced roughly after the start for which a warning was issued. Passing the 175 metres raced roughly before becoming unbalanced and breaking gait for which a warning was issued.

ART THOU LEXY– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the lead passing the 1300 metres.

WEAREALLALONE– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to the position outside the leader passing the 1250 metres.

ALBERIO– Pre-race blood sample.

ESCAPE ARTIST– Commenced to improve three wide passing the 1200 metres before finding a position outside the leader passing the 950 metres.

 

RACE 8 – GLEN MIA ACT SADDLERY PACE – 1710 metres

CLEMENTSORRELL– Pre-race blood sample. A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 race starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

BETTORS POCKET NZ– Worked forward before finding the lead passing the 1300 metres.

HURRICANE STRIDE NZ– Pre-race blood sample.

GEE EF CEE– Post-race swab sample.

FEAR THE EAGLE– Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

PHILANDERING CHEF– Held up for clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

 

 

 

RACE 9 – DOWNLOAD THE TAB APP TODAY PACE – 1710 metres

IDEAL REDEMPTION– Pre-race blood sample.

HELLOFALASS– Pre-race blood sample.

ULTIMATE AD– Hung in despite the efforts of its driver approaching the 400 metres and as a result checked FOXY DADA causing that runner to break gait. As a result, ULTIMATE AD was issued a warning.

MY COURTELL– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find a position outside the leader passing the 1350 metres. Shifted out under pressure.

MASTER GOUDA– Checked and contacted the sulky of POLKA DOT DANCE NZ,  passing the 1300 metres as a result of the pace easing from the race. Post-race swab sample.

JUMBO JIM– Worked forward to find the lead approaching the 1400 metres.

NIGHT TO REMEMBER– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find a position outside the leader passing the 1200 metres.

FOXY DADA– Checked and broke gait approaching the 400 metres as a result of ULTIMATE AD hanging in. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

POLKA DOT DANCE NZ– Near side sulky wheel contacted by MASTER GOUDA passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased from the race resulting in POLKA DOT DANCE NZ sustaining a flat tyre.

 

RACE 10 – GOULBURN SOLDIERS CLUB PACE – 1710 metres

LOUIE– Commenced to improve three wide passing the 1200 metres before finding a position outside the leader at the 900 metres. Hung in at various stages throughout the event.

BETTOR TO BE TRICKY NZ– Pre-race blood sample. A pre and post-race veterinary examination was conducted due to the horse having competed in excess of 200 races starts. Both examinations failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

SHANLOU NZ– Caught wide in the early stages of the event before working forward to find a position outside the leader passing the 1050 metres.

GORDONS BAY– Pre-race blood sample.

HAS THE COURAGE– Shifted out under pressure. Post-race swab sample.
