Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
All engaged drivers at today’s meeting were subjected to rapid antigen tests being supervised by the Stewards prior to fulfilling their drives.
A number of Trainers with runners engaged at tonight’s meeting had their stables inspected as part of the RWWA Compliance Assurance Activities.

RACE 2 – TABRADIO PACE (2130MS)
The mobile barrier arms failed to retract at release point which caused no disadvantage to any runner in the field.
AINSWORTH (J. Stampalia) – Driver J. Stampalia was reprimanded under R156(2)(a) for using his whip in more than a flicking motion.
RACE 3 – BOOK NOW FOR XMAS IN JULY DIV.1 PACE (2536MS)
ROCKINTHEBOX (J. Suvaljko) – Racing in the front straight to receive the bell, sprung an off-side plate which became caught on the hopple connecting strap causing the gelding to stumble and lose ground. Returned having cast the off-side plate.
RACE 4 – BRIDGE BAR OPEN THIS SAATURDAY PACE (2130MS)
TEVARICH (K. Harper) – Made ground when racing in restricted room to the inside of ACOLTNAMEDSU (C. Lewis) when that gelding shifted outwards under pressure, racing in the home straight on the final occasion.
RACE 5 – XMAS IN JULY IN THE BEAU RIVAGE PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.
RACE 6 – STEELOS OPEN EVERY RACE MEETING DIV.2 PACE (2536MS)
ROCKNROLL WHITBY (C. Suvaljko) – Broke gait racing in the back straight on the first occasion. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial.
RACE 7 – BEAU RIVAGE XMAS IN JULY BOOK NOW PACE (2130MS)
The start was delayed due to adjustments to the deafeners being made on EL PASO DE MARKO (T. Stampalia).

RACE 8 – RETRAVISION 3YO PACE (2130MS)
TIGER BY THE TAIL (R. Warwick) – A post-race veterinary examination of the unplaced colt revealed no abnormalities. Driver R. Warwick was of the opinion that the colt may had not recovered from racing three days prior at Narrogin on a rain affected track.
RACE 9 – TEAM BOND 2YO FILLIES PACE (2130MS)
No racing incidents to report.

RACE 5 – THE KERRY CLARKE 4&5YO WESTBRED CLASSIC (G3) PACE (2130MS)
MIDDLEPAGE – Trainer/Driver Mr L. Harper reported the gelding had turned its knee boot in running and struck its knee placing it at a disadvantage. He further advised the gelding will now be sent for a spell.
RACE 8 – 3YO C&G WESTSIRED (L) PACE (2130MS)
SEVEN NO TRUMPS - Driver G. Hall Jnr reported the sulky wheel tyre had deflated near the 700m.
