RACE 1 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY PACE – 1800MS

SAMARA FURY – After showing gate speed, obtained a trail near the 1400 metres when crossed by CELESTIAL DAYBREAK – Inside the 400 metres was checked and lost its position when trailing CELESTIAL DAYBREAK as that runner gave ground – From the 300 metres was held up until able to alter course.

SUTTER MAN – Raced fiercely in the score-up, a warning was issued – Was three wide in the early stages, then restrained to the rear when unable to obtain cover in the running line – Inside the 400 metres was inconvenienced and lost its position when trailing SAMARA FURY.

LIBERTY TEE JAY – Near the 500 metres hung in and briefly tightened SAMARA FURY, a warning was issued.

CELESTIAL DAYBREAK – After showing gate speed, was three wide in the early stages – Worked forward to the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres.

THUMBS UP NZ – Raced fiercely in the score-up, a warning was issued.

BELLA SOFIA – Settled leaders back – Used the sprint lane.

RACE 2 - ANGLE VALE HARDWARE AND FODDER PACE – 1800MS

MY GOLDEN EAGLE – After showing gate speed settled leaders back.

SORRENTO – Raced without cover throughout the race – Hung out notably at various stages – From the 600 metres commenced to hang off affording TRADE WHISPERS a run to its inside near the 400 metres – Shifted ground in the final straight - After taking a submission from Trainer L O’Neill, Stewards ordered Sorrento would be required to race truly in an official trial prior to racing again.

TRADE WHISPERS – Near the 1700 metres was eased to a trailing position in the running line.

RACE 3 - 1197 VA RADIO HARNESS RACING SHOW PACE – 1800MS

FUMIA REACTOR – Settled leaders back – From the 300 metres was held up prior to using the sprint lane.

VILLANELLE – After showing gate speed raced outside the leader throughout -

CARLY MORGAN – Near the 1600 metres eased into a trailing position in the running line -

LITTLE GROWL – After showing gate speed, was three wide in the early stages – From the 1600 metres restrained, eventually to the rear – Was held up for some distance in the vicinity of the 300 metres – Driver D Girardi was cautioned to in future ensure his drives were fully tested.

ROCKSTAR DIVA – Will be re-included in the barrier draw for future mobile races.

RACE 4 - CIBO ESPRESSO - GAWLER PACE – 1800MS

MIDNIGHT SPORT – Driver C Johnson was fined $200 under Rule 156(4) for using the whip excessively.  In determining penalty Stewards acknowledged it was a second offence under the Rule within the reset period.

ON THE CASE – Near the 1600 metres was eased to the markers – Settled leaders back – Used the sprint lane.

MAMMALS DESTINY – After showing gate speed, was three wide in the early stages – Worked forward to the position outside the leader near the 1500 metres – Raced outside the leader throughout.

RACE 5 - TAB LIVE SKY RACING VISION PACE – 1800MS

ACES SHADOW – Used the sprint lane.

BETTOR YOU BET – Near the 1500 metres was tightened for room - Deafeners failed to release.

MAJOR WEST – After showing gate speed, worked forward to lead – Near the 900 metres was unable to hold the lead.

THIS GENERATION – Shifted out at the start, a warning was issued – Driver C Johnson was issued a reprimand (under Rule 168(1)(a) when attempting to shift to the running line when not having clearance over BETTEOR YOU BET – From the 1000 metres worked forward to gain the lead near the 800 metres.

SUPERCHARGED – Inconvenienced when tightened for room at the start – Near the 800 metres hung in, a warning was issued.

RACE 6 - HYGAIN MICRSPEED 3YO & OLDER TROTTERS MOBILE – 2230MS

IRENE ROSE – Near the 2000 metres was eased to the leaders back – Used the sprint lane.

QUICK QUAKER – Broke score-up, out of position at the start – Will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races – From the 1500 metres raced without cover.

ALDEBARAN DEXTA – Near the 2000 metres broke gait free of interference, a warning was issued.

This Report and the Stewards Comments for the race meeting may be amended at the discretion of the Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA) Stewards as races are routinely reviewed.
