Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided stewards with their intentions prior to the event.

Owing to Driver D Smith being injured at Mildura on Friday night the following Driver changes were approved.

Race 4 – ILLAWONG JERRY – R Hryhorec.

Race 5 – ARMCHAIR DRIVE – C Johnson

Race 7 – COME ON SLOOPY – W Hill

RACE 1 - HOPKINS SADDLERY TROTTERS HANDICAP – 2230SS

AUNTY ETHAL – Settled leaders back - Used sprint lane.

AVEROSS DON NZ – Broke after the start, no action was taken owing to false starts – Took no competitive part.

MEET MICHAELANGELO – Fractious in the score up, delaying the start - Will be excluded from the barrier draw in future standing start races.

KABAYO KING – From the 1700 metres worked forward - raced outside the leader from the 1400 metres.

PETITE LOVE NZ – Near the 900 metres raced roughly, a warning was issued.

GHENT – Driver G Pullicino was queried regarding an apparent attempt to leave the trail from the vicinity of the 500 metres.  The Driver explained that she had not intended to shift up the track at that stage but GHENT consistently hangs out in its races and under pressure despite her efforts it continued to track outside the running line.  A warning was issued.

RACE 2 - TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 1800MS

ROCKING WITH CHARM – After showing gate speed, near the 1500 metres was eased to trail TOBY AGARA NZ – Over raced in the middle stages.

TOBY OGARA NZ – Raced fiercely in the score up, a warning was issued - After showing gate speed, was three wide in the early stages – Worked forward to obtain the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres – Raced outside the leader throughout – Over raced in the early and middle stages – When queried regarding the early tactics Driver G Pullicino explained that she had dropped her whip on leaving the circle and had to briefly wait for an attendant to return it.  The Driver added that late in the score up TOBY OGARA NZ became stronger and she became aware that she would not hold the horse off the arm.  Ms Pullicino confirmed that her pre-race instructions had been to drive with a sit in a similar manner to when the horse had won its previous start.  Stewards confirmed the explanation given when leaving the circle.

PREMONITION – Near the 1600 metres when being eased to the markers, hung in and contacted marker pegs, a warning was issued – Approaching the finish became held up.

WHITESTARCHRISTIAN – Near the 1600 metres eased to a trailing position in the running line – From the 400 metres was forced to improve four wide.

POLLY PUT KETTLEON – Was three wide in the early stages – restrained to the rear near the 1400 metres – From the vicinity of the 400 metres was obliged to improve five wide.

EASY ROLLING – Settled behind the leader – From the 300 metres was held up until using the sprint lane.

STEINMAN NZ – Near the 1600 metres was eased to a trailing position in the marker line – In the final straight had difficulty in obtaining clear running – Approaching the finish became held up, not fully tested.

RACE 3 - TAB VENUE MODE PACE – 2230MS

DOUBLE O HEAVEN NZ – From the 200 metres had difficulty obtaining clear running – Approaching the finish became held up, not fully tested.

STEAM CLEANED – From the 1700 metres raced outside the leader.

MAKE HASTE – Near the 1700 metres surrendered the lead.

DELIGHTFUL GNP NZ - After showing gate speed, over raced outside the leader – Near the 1700 metres worked forward to the lead.

STAR WRITER – From the 300 metres was held up until using the sprint lane.

RACE 4 - JOIN US FOR HAPPY HOUR 3-6PM AT THE GLOBE PACE – 1800MS

BELLA SOFIA - After showing gate speed, settled leaders back.

EDWINA EXPRESS – Near the 1600 metres obtained a trail when crossed by BIEN HOA NZ.

ILLAWONG GERRY - Near the 1700 metres was eased into a trailing position in the running line.

BIEN HOA NZ - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as per HRSA aged horse policy – After showing gate speed, was three wide briefly – From the 1600 metres raced outside the leader.

MALACHITE ROCK – Over the concluding stages had difficulty obtaining clear running.

RACE 5 - THE GLOBE BAR & GAMING TROTTERS MOBILE – 1800MS

REGAL ASSASSIN NZ – Broke gait after the start, will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.

MUSCLETONIAN – Settled leaders back – Over raced in the middle stages.

HAMMERS LAW – Shifted out at the start, a warning was issued.

PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN – Inconvenienced at the start when tightened for room – Obtained a trail near the 1500 metres when crossed by ENROLLED.

ENROLLED – Was three wide in the early stages - Worked forward to outside the leader near the 1500 metres – Raced outside the leader throughout.

ARMCHAIR DRIVE – Over raced in the early and middle stages.

SKYLINE NZ – A warning was issued regarding the performance.

RACE 6 - HYGAIN REGAIN PACERS DISCRETIONARY – 2230SS

SOHO TSUNAMI – Fractious prior to the start – Reared as the start was effected, a warning was issued.

CULLENBURN NZ – From the 1500 metres obtained a trail – Over raced in the middle stages.

EMAIN MACHA – From the 1500 metres raced without cover.

RACE 7 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAM HAYTER PACE – 1800MS

LITTLE BAY ENGINE – Hung in during the score up, a warning was issued.

TRADE WHISPERS – After showing gate speed, led briefly – Near the 1500 metres surrendered the lead – settled leaders back – Over raced in the middle stages – from the 300 metres was held up until using the sprint lane - Driver C Johnson explained that he had come out in an effort to obtain the position on the leaders back.

BLING IT UP 

MAMMA KASS – Near the 1600 metres eased to a trailing position in the running line.

THE SNEAKY FOX – From the 1400 metres worked forward three wide – From the 1000 metres raced outside the leader.
