Trainers with multiple runners in any one race provided stewards with their intentions prior to the event.

RACE 1 - ECO-WISE PLUMBING GROUP TROTTERS MOBILE (NR up to 53) – 2230MS

GREAT FANTASY NZ – Raced fiercely during the score up, a warning was issued - Broke gait after the start, will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races.

TEN NO SPUR – Out of position at the start, a warning was issued - Near the 1900 metres eased to a trailing position on the markers.

OUR SPITFIRE NZ – After showing gate speed, eased to the leaders back - Near the 500 metres was inconvenienced when WINSOME RUBY came under pressure – Used the sprint lane.

IRENE ROSE – From the 1800 metres obtained a trail when crossed by KABAYO KING.

KABAYO KING – Out of position at the start, will continue to be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races – From the 1900 metres worked forward to head the running line – Raced outside the leader for the remainder of the race.

LIBERTY SONG - Out of position at the start, will continue to be placed right outside the barrier draw in future mobile races.

RACE 2 - COMMUNITY CAROLS DECEMBER 11 @ GLOBE DERBY PACE – 1800MS

TAKE MY WALLET NZ – Broke gait after the start, will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races – Subjected to a post-race veterinary examination, no clinical issues reported – Trainer P Bain (representing A Bain) reported that the filly had become stirred up during the preliminary which was out of character and the stable would not present it again until satisfied it would race to its previous performance.

STRAWBERRY DELIGHT – Settled leaders back – Used sprint lane.

NO ULTIMATUMS – Raced without cover throughout – Subjected to a post-race veterinary examination, no clinical issues reported – Trainer T Martlew could offer no plausible explanation for the performance and indicated he would ease the horse for a period – Stewards ordered NO ULTIMATUMS be stood down pending the completion of a satisfactory trial (Btn 104.2 mtrs).

LIEUTENANT JACK – Near the 800 metres hung out, a warning was issued.

GROWLERS LAST – Near the 200 metres hung into the sprint lane.

CHEMICAL REACTOR – Three wide in the early stages – Near the 1600 metres eased into a trailing position in the running line – Near the 1500 metres eased to the markers - Will be reincluded in the barrier draw for future mobile races.

OUR MAJOR JACK NZ – Approaching the finish was briefly disappointed when entering the sprint lane - Will be reincluded in the barrier draw for future mobile races.

FOOTLOCK – Checked after the start when TAKE MY WALLET NZ broke gait.

The All-clear for this race was delayed to permit Stewards to review the official vision in the final straight.  On review the Stewards were satisfied that GROWLERS LAST had hung into the sprint lane when it became available and continued to occupy the sprint lane to the finish.  The Stewards were satisfied that Driver C Johnson had breached Rule 167(2) and committed an offence as prescribed by Rule 167(3).  R Hryhorec the Driver of the third placed OUR MAJOR JACK NZ, which had attempted to improve into the sprint lane over the concluding stages, on review of the vision elected to not lodge an objection.  In considering all the relevant factors Stewards determined not to use a discretion to relegate GROWLERS LAST.  Driver C Johnson was fined $200 in that he had continued to drive forward rather than take immediate action to remove his drive from the sprint lane as prescribed by the Rule.

RACE 3 - HYGAIN REGAIN TROTTERS HANDICAP (NR up to 44) – 2230SS

THEBESTOFFICIAL – Near the 2000 metres when leading broke gait free of interference, afforded a last chance to race truly.

KYVALLEY SHERRIF – Near the 2100 metres broke gait free of interference, a warning was issued - Near the 1700 metres surrendered the lead.

WINGS ON HER FEET – From the 2000 metres was left as leader – Near the 800 metres broke gait free of interference, a warning was issued.

DAZY SUNDAZE – Near the 2000 metres broke gait free of interference, a warning was issued – At the request of the Trainer will be excluded from the barrier draw in future standing start races.

MAKE MINE MUSCLE – Near the 800 metres was inconvenienced when avoiding WINGS ON HER FEET which broke gait.

ORLANDOS GIFT – Broke gait after the start, a warning was issued – Raced roughly at various stages, a warning was issued - Driver MA Smith was issued a reprimand under Rule 170(4)(b) in that he did not have both feet in the rests early in the race (the Drivers explanation was noted).

QUICK QUAKER – Three wide in the early stages – Worked forward to the lead near the 1700 metres – Raced keenly when leading.

RACE 4 - K&S ELECTRICAL PACE (NR 48 to 57) – 1800MS

DONT TELL ALICE - Near the 1700 metres eased to the leaders back – Used the sprint lane.

WHITESTARCHRISTIAN – After showing gate speed, raced outside the leader throughout.

SIR ROMAN – Driver S Pascoe explained that she considered her best option would be to keep the back of the likely leader AMORE ROCK but despite her efforts that did not occur.  The Driver stated that in the vicinity of the 500 metres she had attempted to shift PAY ME INTEREST NZ but Driver D Hill had resisted her attempts and thereafter to leave the markers she would have been obliged to concede ground.

RACE 5 - BIANCO REINFORCING PACE – 1800MS

ILLAWONG KIM – Settled leaders back – Over raced in the middle stages.

GIFTEDFROMTHEHEART – In the final straight shifted out under pressure - Driver S Forby was issued a reprimand under Rule 162(1)(www).

INDYANNA – Raced without cover for most of the race.

COME ON SLOOPY – Near the 1600 metres eased into a trailing position in the running line.

LENNY TEE – Near the 1600 metres eased into a trailing position in the running line.

THISWAYTOTHEBEACH – Three wide briefly in the early stages, restrained to the rear.

The All-clear for this race was delayed to permit Stewards to review the official vision in the final straight.  On review the Stewards were satisfied that, although GIFTEDFROMTHEHEART (S Forby) had shifted ground in the straight towards LENNY TEE racing to its outside, the consequences to LENNY TEE were insufficient to instigate action. 

RACE 6 - FIRST CARE MEDICAL PACE – 1800MS

TUSCAN DELIGHT – After showing gate speed was unable to obtain cover – From the 1300 metres raced outside the leader – Driver D Girardi was issued a reprimand under Rule 170(4)(b) in that near the 300 metres his foot dropped from the rest.

TEDDY SANDEL – Slow at the start - Three wide in the early stages, restrained to the rear.

MODSQUAD – After showing gate speed was three wide in the early stages – Near the 700 metres when unable to progress was restrained to the rear – A warning was issued regarding the performance (Btn 52.4 mtrs).

TEXDATERROR – After showing gate speed raced three wide throughout – Near the 300 metres was held up briefly prior to using the sprint lane.

KUHIO CREST – Three wide in the early stages, restrained to the rear.

CELESTIAL TOPAZ – Broke gait in the score up, out of position at the start – Will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile races – Took no competitive part.

MISS POPPYS FRIEND – Settled leaders back.

SUNSHINE RAY – Inconvenienced at the start.

RACE 7 - JOHN ROTHE VIDEO PACE – 1800MS

EUGENE BROMAC – Near the 1600 metres raced greenly, a warning was issued – Settled leaders back.

ORATOR – Near the 900 metres left the markers to race without cover.

PLUTUS – Near the 1600 metres hung out, a warning was issued – Near the 800 metres hung out, a warning was issued – Subjected to a post-race veterinary examination, no clinical issues reported.

KEILAH NZ – Subjected to a pre-race examination and ruled fit to start – Near the 1600 metres broke gait free of interference, afforded a last chance to race truly.

ROCKNROLL TALLARA – Raced without cover in the middle stages - From the 900 metres obtained a trail on ORATOR.

ILLAWONG PHILLIPA – Threw itself to the track in the pre-race formation, a warning was issued – Subjected to a veterinary examination and declared unfit – Withdrawn by Stewards at 4.42pm.

RACE 8 - TAB MAKE A DATE WITH PLAY PACE (NR up to 40) – 1800MS

The start of the race was delayed owing to a tyre on the sulky of PERSIUS deflating during the preliminaries.

At the first attempt the Starter declared a false start as WEWILL HAIL CAESAR raced roughly immediately prior to the start being effected.

ROYAL CADENCE – Near the 1300 metres obtained a trail when crossed by PERSIUS – Used the sprint lane.

FUMIA REACTOR – Near the 1600 metres eased into a trailing position in the running line - Near the 500 metres inconvenienced when avoiding CHEERS POVERTY which broke gait.

MANOEUVER MAN – Three wide in the early stages, restrained to the rear.

FARASTHE EYECANSEE – Three wide in the early stages, restrained to the rear – Pulled hard at various stages, a warning was issued.

MAMMALS DESTINY – Three wide in the early stages, restrained to the rear.

CHEERS POVERTY – Settled leaders back – Near the 500 metres broke gait free of interference, a warning was issued.

WEMEN BELLA – from the 400 metres was obliged to improve four wide on the final turn.

PERSIUS – From the 1500 metres worked forward three wide to the position outside the leader – Raced outside the leader for the remainder of the race.
