RACE 1 – CONQUEST POOLS PACE – 2270 metres

 

TIGER CHEDDAR – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.

GLAMORS SYMBOL– Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.

SOKYS FALCON– Inclined to hang-in at various stages throughout the race, raced roughly rounding the first turn as a result, for which a warning was issued. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

HILLY – Had a tendency to over-race during the middle stages of the event. Driver J Painting was issued with a reprimand under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that leaving the 200 metres he shifted the geldingout when not sufficiently clear of HES A TERROR which was inconvenienced.

HES A TERROR – Inconvenienced leaving the 200 metres when HILLY shifted out.

 

RACE 2 – HARNESS TRADING RING AUSTRALIA PACE – 1740 metres

 

SHESAGRADUATE – Over-raced during the early stages of the event.

VILLAGE AREA– Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by Trainer T White for the late alteration of Driver for the gelding.

ISLAND TEE REX– Worked forward to take over the lead from JUMBO JIM leaving the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

CASH BOOST – Pre-race swab sampled. Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 3 – STEEL SUPPLIES PACE – 1740 metres

 

CHIP GANASSI NZ – Over-raced during the early and middle stages of the event.

CARIBBEAN DELIGHT– Worked forward to take over the lead from INVERLOCH DREAMING leaving the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

REDBANK HARRY – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start. Had a tendency to over-race during the middle stages of the event.

SPORTING RAGE – Pre-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 4 – WHRC AGM 4 DECEMBER PACE – 1740 metres

 

CRACKER MISS– Inclined to hang-out under pressure in the home straight resulting in Driver T White having difficulty getting it to take a run to the inside of IMPERIOUS.

JUST ROCKNROLL– Post-race swab sampled.

IM CAPTAIN MAX NZ– Pre-race swab sampled. Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres.

HERE COMES BOBBY– Broke gait free of interference approaching the 200 metres, for which a warning was issued.

 

RACE 5 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO FILLIES HEAT – 1740 metres

 

CHAMPIONNE – Declared a late scratching at 3.53pm on Vet’s advice.

MISS NEEDY– Hung-out slightly shortly after the start and as a result, KNIGHT KISS contacted its sulky wheeland it sustained a flat tyre.

KNIGHT KISS – Contacted the sulky wheel of MISS NEEDY while being restrained, when that runner hung-out slightly shortly after the start.

WHEREYABINTWISTIN– Pre-race swab sampled.

SHES A CARIBBEAN– Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, after a race day inspection of the filly identified a small cut on the front of her off side foreleg, and was cleared to start. Worked forward to take over the lead from WHEREYABINTWISTIN approaching the 1400 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 6 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – 1740 metres

 

IM IN TROUBLE– Post-race swab sampled.

TROUVILLE – Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1200 metres. Over-raced during the middle stages of the event.

EUCAN ROLL– Pre-race swab sampled. Worked forward to take over the lead from IM IN TROUBLE near the 1400 metres.

KEAYANG DOMINO– Driver R Blythe was fined the sum of $200 under Rule 156(2)(a) for using his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion in the home straight.

 

RACE 7 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO FILLIES HEAT – 1740 metres

 

SWEDISH MEATBALLS– Pre-race swab sampled.

FLEUR BELLA – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn, prior to obtaining a run in the sprint lane.

NIZHONI – Broke gait after the start for which a warning was issued.

SPOONTHEMOON– Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take over the lead from SWEDISH MEATBALLS approaching the 1200 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 8 – NSWBC REGIONAL 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS HEAT – 1740 metres

 

VICTORTHEINFLICTOR– Pre-race swab sampled. Broke gait free of interference near the 200 metres, given the gelding’s record connections were advised that it would be stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and would be required to perform 4 re-qualifying trials. Driver S Towers advised it was the intention of the stable to spell the gelding following tonight’s run.

INSPECTOR CALLAHAN – At an inquiry conducted at Wagga on the 25th of November, Driver T Day pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 156(2)(a) in that he used his whip with an action that was more than a wrist only flicking motion rounding the home turn and in the home straight. In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account that this was his second whip rule breach within 60 days of the first breach. T Day was fined the sum of $400.

MISTA MACNEEDY– Post-race swab sampled.

 

RACE 9 – THE TAB APP MAIDEN PACE – 1740 metres

 

YANKEE ROCKETTE– Pre-race swab sampled. Worked forward to take over the lead from IDEAL HEAVEN approaching the 1200 metres. Veered-out leaving the 800 metres, Driver B Micallef reported that he felt the filly took fright from the Clerk of the Course’s horse which was positioned on the inside of the track in its usual position, given the circumstances and the filly’s record connections were advised that it would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.

IDEAL HEAVEN– Obtained a run to the inside of YANKEE ROCKETTE leaving the 800 metres, when that runner veered-out. Post-race swab sampled.

GIRLSGOTCURLS – Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader leaving the 1000 metres. Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres when YANKEE ROCKETTE veered-out.

DOUBLE MACH – Contacted a marker peg near the 200 metres.

DELIGHTFUL BELLA – Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres when YANKEE ROCKETTE veered-out.

OURMATE GEEJAY – Inclined to over-race during the middle stages of the event. Inconvenienced leaving the 800 metres when YANKEE ROCKETTE veered-out. Tired over the concluding stages.
