RACE 1 – STEEL SUPPLIES 2YO PACE – 1740 metres
KAITOA– Pre-race swab sampled.
KING TINTIN– Post-race swab sampled.
DOCTOR BRYAN – Raced roughly for a short distance near the 1400 metres. Tired over the concluding stages for which a warning was issued.
IM AN ARKITECT– Tired over the concluding stages and beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Driver R Coelli was questioned regarding the tactics adopted and performance of the filly, he stated the intention was to try to lead today, however was unable to muster enough speed to cross KAITOA in the early stages of the race. He added that he tried to get the position on the back of KAITOA near the 1400 metres but KING TINTIN improved to his inside and he was unable to do so. He further added that he felt KAITOA was racing greenly near the 1200 metres so tried to quicken to take over the lead from it approaching the 1000 metres but was again unable to do so. R Coelli futher added the filly was then under pressure from near the 800 metres and he was very disappointed with its performance. Connections advised it was their intention to send the filly for a spell, given the circumstances, they were advised the fillywould be stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial prior to resuming racing.
RACE 2 – HARNESS TRADING RING AUSTRALIA PACE – 1740 metres
CUT N RUN NZ– Pre-race swab sampled.
ALWAYS BE CHLOE– Made a three wide mid race move to take over the lead from CUT N RUN NZ near the 1000 metres. Post-race swab sampled.
RACE 3 – VILLAGE JOLT @ LOCHEND STUD PACE – 1740 metres
POSTAL EXPRESS – Unable to obtain a clear run in the home straight.
BETTERTHANTHEBOYZ– Post-race swab sampled.
CINDAROCKINRELLA – Pre-race swab sampled.
RACE 4 – CONQUEST POOLS CLUB MENANGLE COUNTRY SERIES HEAT – 1740 metres
BARKWAY DULCIE – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it is 12 years old, and was cleared to start.
PLUMPTON ROAD– Pre-race swab sampled. Tired over the concluding stages and beaten by a considerable margin. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Connections were advised the horse would be required to perform a re-qualifying trial.
WEONA BRANACH– Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader leaving the 1000 metres. Post-race swab sampled.
HEAVENS HURRICANE – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader leaving the 1200 metres.
RACE 5 – HAPPY 90TH BIRTHDAY CLIVE ANDERSON PACE – 1740 metres
FLANEUR – Examined by the Club Veterinarian prior to the race, as it has had over 200 race starts, and cleared to start.
ELEGANTDANCER – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the lead from SHES A CARIBBEAN near the 1000 metres.
SHES A CARIBBEAN– Post-race swab sampled.
GUY LOOKS GOOD– Pre-race swab sampled. Broke gait during the score-up and was out of position at the start, for which a warning was issued. Hung-out and broke gait approaching the 1400 metres, for which a warning was issued. Driver C Anderson reported the gelding contacted its own sulky with its hind leg when rounding the turn approaching the 1400 metres.
RACE 6 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 2270 metres
WESTERN BELLE– Post-race swab sampled.
SCOTTIE MACH– Pre-race swab sampled. Checked from behind the tiring IMPERIOUS leaving the 400 metres.
IMPERIOUS – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader approaching the 1600 metres.
JUST ROCKNROLL – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.
RACE 7 – TAB REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – RIVERINA FINAL (GROUP 1) – 2270 metres
DEFIANT– Pre-race swab sampled. Post-race swab sampled.
GRACIE TALTOA – Tired over the concluding stages of the race.
ROCKNROLL RUNA– Hung-out under pressure near the 50 metres, Driver J Painting stated he felt the gelding shied at the big screen, connections were advised the gelding would be placed on its last chance to race truly. Post-race swab sampled.
THE STAIN– Pre-race swab sampled. Raced three wide from the start before working forward to take up the position outside the leader near the 1800 metres.
IM SO NEEDY– Pre-race swab sampled.
BARRETT– Held up for clear running until approaching the 100 metres. Post-race swab sampled.

WESTERN STYLE – Made a three wide mid race move to take over the position outside the leader near the 1400 metres.
