RACE 1 – MCKAYS CARPET CLEANING DUBBO PACE – 1720 metres

YAYAS HOT HEART – Was held up for clear running in the concluding stages of the home straight on the final occasion and was not fully tested.

KEMPLEY PRINCESS– Hung in momentarily passing the 1000 metres.

WATCH AND WEEP– Had a tendency to over race throughout various stages of the event.

BROOKLYN BANDIT– Pre race blood sample was taken. Pulled hard during the latter stages of the score up. A warning was issued. Had a tendency to over race throughout various stages of the event. A post race swab sample was taken.

PARTY HAT– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1400 metres.

BAXTER RED– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event from the 1200 metres before obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 800 metres.

 

RACE 2 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 2120 metres

SPECIAL MEANING– Pre race blood sample was taken.

WARRADERRY– Despite driver D Hewitt’s best efforts, was out of position when the start was effected. A warning was issued. Raced three wide from the 950 metres with cover.

KALYPSO KING– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before obtaining the position outside of the leader passing the 1700 metres.

HEADLINE HUNTER– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before obtaining a position outside the leader passing the 1600 metres. Tired from the 600 metres to be beaten some distance. Stewards questioned driver J Reynolds on the overall performance of the gelding. He stated that he was disappointed in the overall performance given the way the gelding had been working at home. J Reynolds further stated that the gelding’s future within the stable may look to be reconsidered in the coming weeks. His comments were noted. Given the overall performance in tonight’s event HEADLINE HUNTER was stood down for one re – qualifying trial.

STUDLEIGH SONNY– Raced three wide in the latter stages of the event from the 950 metres without cover.

IM MAJOR HARRY- A pre and post race veterinary examination was conducted due to the gelding having had more than 200 lifetime starts. No abnormalities were reported upon either inspection.

LUCKY LYLA- A post race swab sample was taken.

 

RACE 3 – PR & DK GAVIN PLASTERING PACE – 1720 metres

BRADNESS ABUELA – Contacted the off side sulky wheel of MOREARTSTHANCLASS passing the 500 metres when looking to shift WHY NOTT up the track who was racing wheel to wheel with BRADNESS ABUELA.

MOREARTSTHANCLASS– A pre race blood sample was taken. Sustained a flat off side sulky tyre when it was contacted by BRADNESS ABUELApassing the 500 metres.

JOGALONG BLUE– Had a tendency to over race whilst leading the event.

EARSTAGRIN– Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event and raced wide. Tired from the 600 metres to be beaten a considerable distance. A warning was issued. Stewards questioned the driving tactics of trainer / driver P Jenkins. He stated that he had expected to obtain the position outside the leader and had the gelding fired up from the start. Once P Jenkins became aware the position outside the leader was unavailable he was unable to restrain the gelding who was pulling hard after being driven forward from the start. His comments were noted.

LAURIE DEE– Raced three wide from the 1200 metres. A post race swab sample was taken.

 

RACE 4 – FREE CHOICE & GIFTWARE GOOD LUCK CANBERRA RAIDERS PACE – 2120 metres

TULHURST DANCER – Surrended the lead in the early stages passing the 1900 metres.

LONDON LEGS– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1900 metres.

BETA JEWEL– Raced three wide from the 900 metres without cover. A post race swab sample was taken.

VALIANT CHARGER– Worked forward to obtain the position outside the leader passing the 1900 metres.

ALL SPRUCED UP– Raced three wide for the final 900 metres with cover.

JUST WON MORE – Raced three wide from the 1500 metres before obtaining the position outside of the leader passing the 1300 metres. Had a tendency to over race once outside the leader.

 

RACE 5 – FREE CHOICE & GIFTWARE GOOD LUCK SOUTH SYDNEY PACE – 1720 metres

FLY LIKA FALCON NZ – Surrended the lead in the early stages of the event passing the 1500 metres. Momentarily tightened for racing room when surrendering the lead to KINGSTON SHANNON.

KINGSTON SHANNON– Worked forward to the lead passing the 1500 metres. Driver M Barnes received a reprimand under AHRR 163(1)(a)(iii) in that when working forward to the lead she has shifted her runner down the track when not sufficiently clear of FLY LIKA FALCON NZ who was racing to her inside, momentarily placing that runner in restricted racing room.

SMOOTH OVERARM NZ– A post race swab sample was taken.

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE– A pre race blood sample was taken.

BETTOR JIGGLE– At the request of connections will now be re - included in the mobile barrier draw in future starts.

 

RACE 6 – ORANA WOOL & SCRAP METAL LADYSHIP PACE – 2120 metres

FEELING HALL GOOD– Had a tendency to over race throughout various stages of the event.

BABY BEE MINE– A pre race blood sample was taken.

BEAUTIFULVENGEANCE– Checked and broke passing the 1800 metres. Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into the reasons BEAUTIFULVENGEANCE was checked and broke, to a date yet to be fixed.

RED ENVY NZ– Had a tendency to over race throughout various stage of the event. A post race swab sample was taken.

TWISTED MISTRESS– Despite the best efforts of driver M Parsons, was out of position when the start was effected. A warning was issued.

 

RACE 7 – CRAMPTONS CARPETS PACE – 2120 metres

BLING THE LUCK – Had a tendency to over race throughout various stages whilst leading the event.

CHOC A BLOCK- A pre race blood sample was taken. A post race swab sample was taken.

FAR OUT RINGO– Hung out and momentarily locked wheels with TIGER TOMMY NZ passing the 100 metres.

TIGER TOMMY NZ– Was checked when momentarily locking wheels with FAR OUT RINGO passing the 100 metres.

TULHURST CUDDLES– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained at the tail of the field passing the 1100 metres.

WEONA MISFORTUNE– Raced three wide for the final 900 metres without cover.

 

RACE 8 – R SLAPP & CO CANVAS WORKS MAIDEN PACE – 1720 metres

BLUE CHIP MONEY - A pre race blood sample was taken.

MAJOR MILLIE– Driver M Hutchings received a reprimand under AHRR 170(1)(a) for allowing his left foot to lower from the sulky rest when activating approved gear passing the 600 metres.

LA BOMBA– Was caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1500 metres.

SHEZ A WARRIOR– Tired over the concluding 600 metres to be beaten a considerable distance. Driver N Hurst received a reprimand under AHRR 170(1)(a) for allowing his left foot to lower from the sulky rest passing the 150 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Given the overall performance of SHEZ A WARRIOR the filly was stood down for one re – qualifying trial.

IMPERIAL POWER– Was caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before working forward the position outside the leader passing the 1300 metres. A post race swab sample was taken.

 

RACE 9 – COFFEE PHOTOGRAPHY & FRAMING MAIDEN PACE – 1720 metres

I WANNA BE A LEXY– Surrended the lead in the middle stages of the event passing the 800 metres.

TUFFY– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before obtaining the position outside the leader passing the 1500 metres. Tired over the final 600 metres to be beaten a considerable distance. Stewards questioned trainer / driver G Rue on the overall performance of the gelding. He stated that the work the gelding did in the early stages to obtain the position outside of the leader may have contributed to the gelding’s performance however overall he was slightly disappointed in the run. Given the overall performance of TUFFY the gelding was stood down for one re – qualifying trial. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bilateral nasal discharge. Acting under veterinary advice the gelding was stood down until receipt of veterinary certificate of clearance.

CRUZ WITH ROME– A pre race blood sample was taken. Caught racing three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1100 metres.

DEAD EYE TIKI– Raced three wide in the early stages of the event before being restrained to the tail of the field passing the 1300 metres.

BELLRIVERGIRL– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event, from the 1100 metres before obtaining the lead passing the 800 metres.

KARLOO LOUIE– Raced three wide in the middle stages of the event with cover from the 1100 metres until obtaining a position outside the leader passing the 750 metres. A post race swab sample was taken.
