RACE 1 – MARKS PUMPS / CENTRAL WEST CUSTOMS PACE – 1700 metres

HALL CASH – Pre race blood sample.

MIOAN– A false start was declared on the first occasion when the gelding became unbalanced and galloped and as a result checked trailing runners. A warning was issued. Near the 250 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

ROLL THE SEVEN– Post race swab sample.

IM MAJOR HARRY– Underwent a pre and post race veterinary examination as the gelding has competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

UNREAL FEELING– Pre race blood sample.

RACE 2 – SAM AGOSTINO MEMORIAL – 1700 metres

LEXIE GIRL - Pre race blood sample. Underwent a pre race veterinary examination as the filly hadn’t competed in excess of 12 months. Cleared to start. Near the 250 metres was checked when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped. Approaching the finishing line, improved onto the back of ZEBS ARWOC and as a result contacted the sulky of that runner resulting in both forelegs becoming entangled within the sulky of ZEBS ARWOC. After considering the explanation provided by driver N Turnbull no further action was taken against the filly.

SIR HAYWOOD– Driver C Bourke was issued a reprimand under rule 163(1)(a)(iii) for causing interference in that near the 1400 metres when shifting SIR HAYWOOD from a marker peg position to a running line position she did so when not sufficiently clear of PEAKSART resulting in that gelding being inconvenienced. Near the 250 metres checked and broke when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped.

ZEBS ARWOC– Approaching the finishing line had its sulky contacted by another runner. Driver G Cattell reported that the deafeners failed to release during the running of the event.

TULHURST ROCKNROLL– Near the 250 metres became unbalanced and shifted out abruptly resulting in a number of runners being checked. A warning was issued.

LITTLE POPCORN– Near the 250 metres was checked and broke when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped.

POPPY FRANCO– Near the 250 metres was checked and broke when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped.

PEAKSART– Inconvenienced near the 1400 metres when SIR HAYWOOD shifted out. Post race swab sample was taken.

CAUGHT OUT – Pre race blood sample. Near the 250 metres was checked and broke when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped.

BELLRIVERGIRL– Out of position at the start. Will continue to be placed outside the draw in future mobile starts. Near the 250 metres was checked and broke when TULHURST ROCKNROLL galloped.

RACE 3 – CHARLIE MUDDLE MEMORIAL – 1700 metres

BEATBOXER – Pre race blood sample. Near the 1000 metres raced roughly and a short distance later became unbalanced and broke. In view of the geldings record it was placed on its last chance to race truly.

YAREADYFREDDY– Post race swab sample.

CARBAGANOOSH- Pre race blood sample.

LINX DOWNS– Stewards questioned driver N Turnbull in regards to the performance of the mare which weakened to be beaten 80 metres. N Turnbull stated that after racing three wide in the early stages he was able to restrain to the rear of the field near the 1300 metres however after restraining to the rear of the field the mare lost interest in racing and as a result weakened over the final 800 metres. In view of the performance the mare will be stood down until it completes one satisfactory trial.

RACE 4 – COWRA SERVICES CLUB PACE – 1700 metres

LAURIE DEE - Pre race blood sample.

BAXTER RED- Post race swab sample.

DARABONT– Driver M Rue was reprimanded under rule 170(1)(a) for allowing his left foot to drop from the sulky rest from activating gear near the 250 metres.

JUST WON MORE- Pre race blood sample.

HIGH QUEST– Will now be re included in the mobile barrier draw.

RACE 5 – COWRA BOWLING CLUB LADYSHIP CUP – 1700 metres

TIGER TOMMY NZ - Pre race blood sample. Slow to begin.

HOLY CAMP CAPRHYSE- Pre race blood sample.

DIXIE DOLITTLE– Post race swab sample.

FEELING HALL GOOD– Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

RACE 6 – TAB LONG MAY WE PLAY PACE – 2160 metres

NINA SIMONE NZ - Pre race blood sample. Driver B Micallef was advised to exercise more care in that near the 1700 metres when shifting from a marker peg position to a one wide position he did so when not quite clear of SUBSTITOOTH and as a result that runner was forced wider.

SIX AGAIN- Post race swab sample.

THE RAINBOW BEACH– Over raced during the middle stages of the event.

KULANI COURAGE- Pre race blood sample.

SUBSTITOOTH– Near the 1700 metres was inconvenienced and momentarily forced wider when NINA SIMONE NZ shifted out.

RACE 7 – THE TAB APP CLUB MENANGLE COUNTRY SERIES HEAT – 1700 metres

JIMMYJOE - Pre race blood sample. Post race swab sample.

MISS LEMON- Pre race blood sample.

TULHURST TERROR– Underwent a pre and post race veterinary examination as the gelding had competed in excess of 200 race starts. No abnormalities were detected on either examination.

JOETOMO – Broke in the early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was issued.

RACE 8 – COWRA TRI TECH CUP – 2160 metres

FLEETWOOD ROCK - Pre race blood sample. Near the 1900 metres became unbalanced and galloped. A warning was issued.

HOLY CAMP DILLION– Near the 600 metres was severely checked when CASSIUS DECK and THE STAIN locked wheels.

CASSIUS DECK- Pre race blood sample. Near the 600 metres locked wheels with THE STAIN and as a result was checked.

SO MUCH BETTOR- Post race swab sample.

THE STAIN- Near the 600 metres hung in slightly and as a result locked wheels with CASSIUS DECK and was checked and broke.

SAINT EMILION– Stewards questioned driver J O’Shea in regards to the performance of the gelding. J O’Shea stated that he elected to move three wide in the early stages of the event as he was of the opinion that the tempo would ease however when the tempo remained solid he was obliged to work harder than he would have liked to obtain the position outside the lead. J O’Shea further added that the gelding was under pressure from the 600 metres and in his opinion was slightly disappointing. Stewards noted the comments.
