Trainers with multiple runners in any one race were questioned in relation to their intended tactics.
All engaged drivers at tonight’s meeting were subjected to rapid antigen tests being supervised by the Stewards prior to fulfilling their drives.
Due to Health & Safety protocols the following driver changes were made:

Race 8 – IDEAL FLIPFLOP NZ – M. Blakemore.
RACE 1 – FAMILY FUN DAY, THANKS TO TOYWORLD BUNBURY 2YO WESTBRED FILLIES MAIDEN PACE (2100MS)
FLYING TO WIN (K. Harper) – Attempted to jump a shadow on the track and broke gait racing into the front straight to receive the bell. Again, attempted to jump a shadow racing in the front straight on the final occasion and broke gait. Will be stood down from racing for a period of 6 days and until such time as the completion of 1 satisfactory re-qualifying trial. Trainer Mr B. Mellsop advised he would add a shadow roll to the filly’s gear in an attempt to rectify its racing manner.
SPIRITOFANANGEL (N. Turvey) – Inconvenienced racing into the front straight to receive the bell.
CHEWYSLOOSECHANGE (C. Voak) – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. Will be placed outside the draw in future mobile barrier events. Severely checked and broke gait racing into the front straight to receive the bell.
ARMA WARRIOR (T. Wheeler) – Inconvenienced racing into the front straight to receive the bell.
BONNIE PAULINE (G. Cox) – Inconvenienced racing into the front straight to receive the bell.
RACE 2 – DONATE TO RIDE FOR AHLIA 2022 3YO PACE (2100MS

RACE 4 – LEARN TO DANCE AT DANCE IT SOUTH WEST PACE (1609MS)
IM RIDDLER (G. Johnson) – Hung inwards despite the efforts of its driver, racing into the front straight on the final occasion. A warning was issued on the gelding in relation to its racing manner.
IDEAL IVANA (D. Miller) – Inconvenienced behind a tiring runner racing into the front straight on the final occasion.
BATAVIA REACTOR (C. Playle) – Commenced to give ground from the 400m.
BETTOR BE ARTFUL (M. Young) – Tightened when IM RIDDLER (G. Johnson) hung inwards and raced roughly for a short distance thereafter.
RACE 5 – BREATHE ACCOUNTING PACE (2100MS)
RODGER JAMES (D. Roberts) – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
RACE 6 – BENCHMARK HORSEFEEDS PACE (2100MS)

SIPPINONJACK NZ (T. Wheeler) – Broke gait shortly after the start was effected. A warning was issued in relation to the geldings starting manners.
