RACE 1 – T & M LEIS STAKES– 2180 METRES
JO DINA underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed suitable to race.
ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP galloped out and has been placed on its last chance in the standing start draw.
HEZA RUMMAGE NZ galloped out and has been placed on its last chance in the standing start draw
.JO DINA galloped out and will continue out of the standing start draw.
KEEP PLAYING was slow to begin then broke racing to the first turn. The gelding has been placed on its last chance to race truly.
ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP underwent a post-race veterinary examination after tiring over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 119 metres. No abnormalities were detected and the mare has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
TAXI METER worked forward to race outside the leader before tiring to be beaten in excess of 52 metres. The gelding has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.
RACE 2 – KELLY'S WASTE MANAGMENT PACE – 2180 METRES
After beginning satisfactorily LOU LOUS ALLGOLD has been reinstated in the mobile draw.
GUYS BETTOR BET raced roughly close to the finish.
A warning was issued to MY ULTIMATE JIMBO which hung in and gave ground over the final stages to be beaten in excess of 33 metres.
OZZIE MAJOR gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 38 metres.
RACE 3 – POLY WELDING SOLUTIONS STAKES – 1892 METRES
SON OF RAYSON was declared a non-runner as Stewards were satisfied that the gelding was not facing forward as the start was effected.
Driver (M Ford) was spoken to about his horse ON MY OATH delaying the start. Mr Ford was directed not to turn his horse away from the barrier unnecessarily when under Starters orders.
PLEASE SHUDDUP NZ galloped out and will continue to be out of the standing start draw.
SON OF RAYSON was placed out of the draw in future standing starts after being fractious before the start and turning away from the barrier just before release resulting in it taking no part in the event.
No action was taken against PAWNBROKERS LAD which galloped out due to the delay at the start.
No action was taken against DEVIL OF TYNE which galloped out due to the delay at the start.
PLEASE SHUDDUP NZ galloped out and will continue to be out of the standing start draw.
PINK PONDER was checked shortly after the start by a galloping runner.
BOLD CENTURIAN broke free of interference and after taking into account his recent race record Stewards stood the gelding down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
Trainer B Yole was fined the sum of $200 under AHRR 273(2)(d) for presenting PLEASE SHUDDUP NZ to race in gear which was deemed to be of inferior quality.
RACE 4 – NWTLHA CUP–2500 METRES
COOLHAND EASTON NZ galloped out and has been placed on its last chance in the standing start draw.
AHA REACTION NZ broke after the start and will continue out of the standing start draw.
After beginning satisfactorily DIAMONDS N CASH NZ has been reinstated in the standing start draw.
A warning was issued to COOLHAND EASTON NZ which hung in and contacted marker pegs.
AHA REACTION NZ broke free of interference inconveniencing CULLENBURN NZ and LIP READER. The gelding has been placed on his last chance to race truly.
Trainer K Rattray was reprimanded under LR 36.1 for failing to notify his dual runner tactics.
RACE 5 – WILLREV SYNDICATE PACE–2180 METRES
BETTOR BLAST NZ was out of position at the start and will continue out of the draw in mobile events.
STONY THE SPY broke free of interference racing to the first turn before locking wheels with AUNTY BESSY. The gelding was then pulled up owing to the near side tyre being punctured in this incident.
LALIBELA was severely checked when STONY THE SPY galloped racing to the first turn.
MASTER MILO which led the event tired to be beaten in excess of 122 metres and has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
WHISKEY AND RYE raced roughly during the event before tiring to be beaten in excess of 78 metres. The gelding has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.
RACE 6 –CARLTON UNITED BREWERY STAKES–2500 METRES
CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ galloped out and took no competitive part in the event. The gelding has been placed out of the draw in future standing start events.
JAMES DEAN NZ broke free of interference. After taking into account the geldings recent race record he was stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
A warning was issued to NO NUKES SKIPPER NZ which had a tendency to hang out throughout the event.
RAMBLEON tired to be beaten in excess of 69 metres and has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
CHRISTIAN MAJOR tired to be beaten in excess of 64 metres and has been placed on its last chance to race competitively.
NO NUKES SKIPPER NZ tired to be beaten in excess of 80 metres and has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial.
After beginning satisfactorily NERO STRIDE has been reinstated in the standing start draw.
RACE 7 – RELAY FOR LIFE PACE–2180 METRES
REMEMBER ME NOW NZ broke free of interference racing around the first turn and has been placed on its last chance to race truly.
OUR IDEAL FELLA gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 32 metres.
STUNIN MAGIC NZ gave ground over the concluding stages to be beaten in excess of 32 metres.
RACE 8 – LADBROKES STAKES–2180 METRES
SPOT ON NZ galloped out and has been placed on his last chance in the standing start draw.
BEE SEVENTEEN broke after the start and has been placed out of the draw in future standing start events.
LIFEOFBRIAN NZ broke after the start and has been placed on its last chance in the draw.
TARLETON RILEY raced outside of the leader throughout and pulled hard during the event.
STEVIE JOLT was caught wide early before restraining to race at the rear of the field.
