General: Due to the unavailability of a veterinarian on course by the required time all races were put back one race time slot.

Stewards noted the intended tactics from trainers with multiple runners in the one race

Race 1 - KELATO ANIMAL HEALTH UP TO NR70 FINAL  1660M

General Montana NZ (Adam Sanderson) – Inclined to hang out when leading.

Classie Washington NZ (Angus Garrard) – Required a sulky change prior to the start which delayed the race. Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Geldof (Amanda Payne) - Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Timzee NZ (Taleah McMullen) – Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Slip The Hundy NZ (Narissa McMullen) - Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 2 - 1EQUINE CLAIMING PACE  2138M

Tulhurst Ace (Nathan Dawson)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Handsome Hero NZ (Chris Geary)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Major Generaljujon (Grant Dixon)– Claimed from the event.

Blue Moon Rising NZ (Angus Garrard)– Claimed from the event.

Some Excusesomewhere NZ (Narissa McMullen)– Overraced and pulled hard during the event. Near the 600 m when racing three-wide raced roughly after contacting the sulky of Bohannan NZ.

Bohannan NZ (Dannielle Veivers)– Raced wide from the 1000 m. Back in draw in mobile events.

Race 3 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT NO BAND CONDITIONED PACE  2138M

Asterism (Justin Elkins)– Hung in during the score up. Tightened for racing room near the 1400 m.

Jenden Strike (Shane Graham)– Driver reprimanded for causing a tightening at the 1400 m.

Lady Avana NZ (Grant Dixon)– Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

So Am I (Leonard Cain)– Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward initially to the position outside of the leader.

General: All clear on the race was delayed to allow Justin Elkins, driver of second placed Asterism the opportunity to view the patrol footage of an incident near the 1400 m when Jenden Strike (Shane Graham), placed 1st crossed over ahead of Asterism. However, after review Justin Elkins advised that he did not wish to proceed with the matter and as such all clear was confirmed on the judge’s placings. At a subsequent inquiry into the incident Shane Graham was reprimanded for causing a tightening to Asterism. (R.168(1)(a))

Race 4 - 2022 STALLIONS AUSTRALASIA DARRELL ALEXANDER TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONE HEAT 1  2647M

Bd Khaosan NZ (Shane Graham)– Hung out in the back straight on the final occasion when yielding ground.

Lotamuscle NZ (Matthew Craven)– Raced wide in the middle stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

Sir Fahrenheit NZ (Angus Garrard)– Broke gait near the 1800 m when the pace of the race eased. A warning was issued.

Race 5 - PCFA CRITICAL CATCH PACE  1660M

Headwin (Trent Moffat) – Hung in and raced roughly when racing approaching the 1400 m.

Cradle Of Fire (Leonard Cain) – Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

Race 6 - 2022 STALLIONS AUSTRALASIA DARRELL ALEXANDER TROTTING CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND ONE HEAT 2      2647M

Indefensible (Angus Garrard)– Broke under pressure leaving the 80 m. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Rigondeaux (Pete McMullen)– Galloped at the start. A warning was issued.

Gee Up Neddy NZ (Hayden Barnes)– Broke gait near the 2300 m. A warning was issued.

Ymbro Wasted (Grant Dixon)– Fractious before the start before galloping at the start. The gelding will continue to be drawn wide in standing start events.

Race 7 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONY TURPIN UP TO NR90 PACE  1660M

King Triton (Narissa McMullen)– Broke gait near the 1400 m. Gave ground badly over the final 600 m.  An examination by the veterinarian subsequent to the race found no abnormalities at time of examination. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly

Sumomentsomewhere (Adam Sanderson)– Inconvenienced by galloping King Triton near the 1400 m.

So Bobs Your Uncle NZ (Pete McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.  Inconvenienced by galloping King Triton near the 1400 m.

Just Rokin (Shane Graham)– Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 800 m.

Squire (Nathan Dawson)– Inconvenienced by galloping King Triton near the 1400 m.

Race 8 - PCFA CRITICAL CATCH UP TO NR70 CONSOLATION  1660M

Itz Cherokee Jack NZ (Pete McMullen)– Raced roughly approaching the first turn near the 1400 m.

The Hervey Bay (Nathan Dawson)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Charm Offensive NZ (Lachie Manzelmann)– Was a late scratching at 9:05 p.m. after the horse was found to be sore it the off-fore leg. The gelding will be stood down for a period of 7 days.

Race 9 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED PACE  1660M

Valkyrie (Narissa McMullen) – Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 400 m

Franco Nathan NZ (Leonard Cain) – Broke gait near the 1400 m. The gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly

Mullum Flo (Angus Garrard) –Inclined to hang out over the final 700 m.

Race 10 - PCFA CRITICAL CATCH PACE  1660M

Cc Jones NZ (Pete McMullen)– Inconvenienced when caught behind tiring Schooby approaching the 200 m

Maywyn Troubadour (Kelli Dawson)– Overraced and pulled hard during the event.
