Stewards noted the intended tactics from trainers with multiple runners in the one race

Race 1 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT QUALIFYING B PACE (SKY 2)            2138M

Heston Zoolander (Nathan Dawson)– Broke gait after the start. The gelding will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Bonnies Cam (Dayl March)– Driver fined unapproved whip use.

Chal Be NZ (Grant Dixon)– Gave ground badly over the final 800 m finishing 105.8 metres from the winner. After examination although finding no significant matters the Veterinarian was concerned with the horse’s post-race recovery. Acting on the advice of the Veterinarian Chal Be NZ was stood down for 7 days plus a veterinary certificate and the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

General: Dayl March (Bonnies Cam) fined $200 for using the whip in an unapproved manner over the final 200 m of the event. (R.156(2)).

Race 2 – SELECTIVE MOTORS BAND 4 - BAND 2 PACE         1660M

Streitkid (Narissa McMullen)– Overraced and pulled extremely hard during the event.

Mafuta Vautin (Adam Sanderson)– Was back from its allocated position at the candy pole after breaking gait in the early stages of the score up. The gelding will be placed on its last chance in the draw.

Jonah Jones NZ (Grant Dixon)– Contacted a marker post when tightened for room at 400 m when racing to the inside of Obi One NZ.

Pacific Drums (Brendan Barnes)– Fractious leaving the pre-race circle.

Zahven Banner NZ (Ricky Thurlow)– Claimed from the event

Race 3 - KELATO ANIMAL HEALTH UP TO NR90 PACE          2138M

Mistery Road (Shane Graham)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Gave ground over the final 400 m.

Paravani NZ (Matt Elkins)– Inconvenienced when caught behind the tiring Mistery Road leaving the 400 m.

Keayang Marven (Brendan Barnes)- Raced three-wide with cover over the final 900 m.

The Shady One (Justin Elkins)– Inconvenienced when caught behind the tiring Mistery Road leaving the 400 m.

Oaxacan Dream NZ (Leonard Cain)– Raced three-wide without cover over the final 900 m.

Bitcoin (Pete McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages. Raced three-wide with cover over the final 900 m.

Race 4 - AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS BAND 5 PACE       1660M

Ohoka Jimmy NZ (Adam Richardson)– Shifted in and contacted a marker post near the 1300 m

Roll One Over (Narissa McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Jasper (Trista Dixon)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Lucky Nutter (Shane Graham)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 5 – BETAVET QUALIFYING PACE           2138M

King Of Trumps NZ (Alanah Richardson)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working

Race 6 - CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES BAND 5 PACE            1660M

Cala Jane (Brendan Barnes)– The head-check bit dislodged in the early stages of the event. The gear was inspected and found to be in a satisfactory condition.

Miss Serena (Tom Ison)– Broke gait in the early stages of the score up. Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

Sarah Anne (Adam Richardson)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Race 7 – CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES QUALIFYING B PACE   1660M

Shez Got Bling (Narissa McMullen)– Overraced and pulled hard during the early stages when leading the one wide line.

Ima Beach Babe (Taleah McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

A Whole Lotta Rosie NZ (Grant Dixon)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Miss Mia (Nathan Dawson)– Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.

Race 8 - CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES QUALIFYING PACE   1660M

Okinawa Beach (Damian Wilson)- Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader. Shifted in and contacted sulky of Sii Sempre Tilly at the 1200 m. Driver reprimanded shifting in causing a tightening.

Majic Moment NZ (Tom Ison)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Shez Notorious (Angus Garrard)- Held up for a clear run at a vital stage in the straight.

General: Damian Wilson (Okinawa Beach) was reprimanded for allowing his horse to shift in when racing on the outside of Sii Sempre Tilly near the 1200 m which resulted in Damian Wilson being momentarily unseated in the sulky. (R.168(1)(a)(i)).

Race 9 - PSP TROTTERS BAND HANDICAP    2138M

Hello Jolene Jolene NZ (Trista Dixon) – Broke gait after the start. The mare will continue to be drawn on the extreme outside in standing start events.

Sugarinspice NZ (Pete McMullen) – Galloped out at the start. The mare will continue to be drawn on the extreme outside in standing start events. Broke gait near the 100m. Given the horse's previous record in this regard the mare will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Humble Ladd NZ (Adam Richardson) – Paced out before breaking after the start. The gelding will continue to be drawn wide in standing start events.

Majestic Simon NZ (Chantal Turpin) – Galloped at the start. The gelding will continue to be drawn wide in standing start events

Race 10 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND OPEN PACE            1660M

Northview Hustler NZ (Brendan Barnes)– Tightened for room approaching the finish when racing to the outside of Tommy Lincoln which shifted out and Will The Wizard which shifted in.
