Race 1 - BURWOOD STUD 2YO MAIDEN PACE  1660M

My Girl Mandy (Mathew Neilson) – Hung in on the final turn.

Jilliby Typhoon (Angus Garrard) – Gate speed, led.

Miki Magic (Pete McMullen) – Led one wide line, when attempting to challenge for the lead from the 1200m the filly paced roughly and was restrained by its driver to lead the one wide line.

Whos To Blame (Joedy Whitaker) – Hung out in the score up and failed to be fully in position when the star was affected. A warning was issued. Broke free of interference leaving the 300m losing valuable ground. The filly was placed on its last chance to race truly.

My Ultimate Jimbo (Cameron Hart) – Broke free of interference near the 1200m losing valuable ground. The colt was placed on its last chance to race truly.

Race 2 - PSP TROTTERS MOBILE  1660M

Sonetto (Matt Crone) – Broke gait after the start , the mare will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events.

Shegotsass (Tim Gillespie) - – Broke gait after the start , the mare will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events.

Carnera (Grant Dixon) – Broke gait in the latter stages of the home straight. Losing some ground the horse was placed on its last chance to race truly. General:  trainer / driver Grant Dixon reported that the gelding had cast its off fore plate approach the front straight with one remaining.

Paris Kay (Cameron Hart) - lead the one wide line.

Dead Set Muscle (Brittany Graham) - Checked and broke after the start losing valuable ground.

General:  Stewards delayed the all clear to allow them to view the patrol footage to see if Carnera (G Dixon) had gain an advantage whilst in a gallop across the finish line, after viewing the footage stewards were satisfied  driver Dixon took the necessary action and restrained the gelding as soon as the horse had broken gait and lost ground and gained no advantage, the all clear was given on the judges numbers.

Race 3 - SKY RACING PACE  1660M

Hit The Track (Zac Chappenden) - Gate speed, led.

GriGora (Alan Donohoe) - The gelding over raced when striking its own sulky and ran up onto the back of the sulky of Glitter Strip in the front straight on the first occasion. Connections were advised to make the necessary gear adjustments to prevent a recurrence.

Major Grandeur (Chloe Butler) - Raced roughly for a short distance when the start was affected then broke gait leaving the back straight on the first occasion losing some ground. The gelding was placed on its last chance to race truly.

Major Slip Up (Angus Garrard) - Raced three wide from the start to improve to the position leading the one wide line leaving the 1000m point.

Williewa Lightning (Pete McMullen) – Held up early.

Press Statement (Leonard Cain) - Race three wide early, worked forward to the position leading the one wide line approaching the 1100 m before receiving cover leaving the 1000 m. The horse had a tendency to over race in the early and middle stages of the race. Failed to obtain clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

Whata Terror (Brendan Barnes) – Utilised sprint lane.

Race 4 - BETAVET RECOVERY VETERANS PACE  1660M

The Shady One (Matt Elkins) – Gate speed, led. Surrendered the lead leaving the 1300m.

Warfare (Nathan Dawson) - Gate speed, when unable to cross to the lead was restrained abruptly in an endeavour to obtain a trail, as a consequence inconvenienced Just Rokin which was trailing. Driver Dawson was reprimanded.

Mafuta Vautin (Brittany Graham) - Raced three wide early, worked forward to challenge and cross to lead leaving the 1300m. The gelding had a tendency to hang out at various stages of this race.

Just Rokin (Pete McMullen) - Inconvenienced near the 1300m.

Rock Bottom NZ (Shane Graham) - Caught racing wide early before restraining to the rear.

Mohs Em Down NZ (Brendan Barnes) - led one wide line throughout.

Race 5 - THE CREEK MEMBERSHIP PACE  2138M

Immer Besser NZ (Nathan Dawson) – Gate speed, led.

Firehouse (Mathew Neilson) - Gate speed, unsuccessfully challenge for the lead then restrained to obtain a one out one back trailing position approaching the 1800m. Leaving the 500m was unsuccessful when attempting to shift Hez On The Buzzer wider to improve into the race.

Rocknholme (Matt Crone) - Tightened on the final turn when racing in restricted racing room contacting marker pegs. The near side sulky wheel went inside the last marker peg when entering the sprint lane in the home straight. Driver Fined

Hez On The Buzzer NZ (Pete McMullen) – Raced three wide from the 800m.

Aye Aye Captain (Shane Graham) - Failed to obtain clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested

Whataboyjack (Brittany Graham) – Utilised sprint lane.

Chal Be NZ (Grant Dixon) – Failed to obtain clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested.

Race 6 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT UP TO NR90 PACE  1660M

Paravani NZ (Matt Elkins)- Gate speed, led, surrendered the lead near the 1400m.

So Bobs Your Uncle NZ (Pete McMullen) – Caught wide early, restrained to the rear.

El Aguila (Shane Graham) – Gate speed, worked forward to lead near the 1400m.

Speak With Sam (Brendan Barnes) - lead the one wide line approaching the 1000m. Gave ground from the 400m beaten 47.3m. A subsequent veterinary examination reported no significant findings. Stable representative and driver Brendan Barnes advised the horse over raced and pulled hard and was making some unusual breathing noises and felt the horse had choked off. Stewards directed that the gelding be barred from racing until it can requalify to the satisfaction stewards in one barrier trial.

Race 7 - COBBITTY EQUINE FARM PACE  1660M

Bartello (Grant Ellul) – Failed to be fully in position at the start which inconvenienced Leithen Burn NZ on the second line, the gelding was placed on its last chance to begin in the desired manner, the gelding then paced roughly when the start was affected and broke gait free of interference near the 1400m and again at the 900m and was retired from this event. A subsequent veterinary examination reported no significant findings.

 General : Stewards questioned trainer Alan Ellul regarding the performance of the gelding who could offer no tangible explanation for the poor performance. Stewards advised connections the gelding would be barred from racing until it can requalify to the satisfaction stewards in one barrier trial.

Awaywego (Pete McMullen) - Gate speed, led surrendered the lead early when Dance In The Sun NZ improved to the position at the 1200m

Dance In The Sun NZ (Leonard Cain) - Work forward to cross to lead at the 1200 m. Placed in restricted racing room on the final turn resulting in the sulky wheel contacting marker pegs.

Leithen Burn NZ (Brendan Barnes) - Inconvenienced in the latter stages of the score up.

Bonnie Prince Louis NZ (Nathan Dawson) - Raced three wide early to work forward to the position outside the leader at the 1000m. Hung in on the final turn tightening the racing room of Dance In The Sun NZ to its inside, a warning was issued.

Race 8 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND UP TO NR70 PACE  1660M

Valkyrie (Narissa McMullen) - Gate speed, led. Paced roughly for a short distance near the 400m point losing some momentum.

Hy Voltage (Pete McMullen) - Gate speed, led one wide line and began to over race at that point before receiving cover at the 1200m.

Mistery Road (Shane Graham) - Raced three wide from the start to work forward to be position outside the leader at the 1200m.

Girls Are Best NZ (Will Rixon) - Raced three wide with cover from the 800m.

Teddy Feels Good (Brad Hewitt) - led the three wide line from the 800m.
