Stewards noted the intended tactics from trainers with multiple runners in the one race

Race 1 - 1EQUINE SUPERCELL TROTTERS RATING HANDICAP            2138M

Kapai NZ (Taleah McMullen)– Broke gait shortly after the start. A warning was issued.

Minnie Bow Tique NZ (Nathan Dawson)– Broke gait shortly after the start. A warning was issued.

Natty Pagger NZ (Trent Moffat)– Broke gait at the start. A warning was issued.

Race 2 – SUNSHINE STARS MAIDEN PACE    1660M

Fancy Like Barbie (Chloe Butler) – Hung in at stages during the event.

Major Paint (Mathew Neilson)– As the horse had competed at Redcliffe the preceding day Major Paint was inspected by the Veterinarian prior to the race and cleared to start.

Melton Quality (Pete McMullen) –Hung out at the start.

Ash And Jo (Shane Graham)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Black Gemstone (Ricky Gordon)– Raced roughly during the score up resulting in the mare being back from its allocated position at the start. The mare will be placed on its last chance in the draw. Broke gait near the 1400 m. As a previous warning had been issued Black Gemstone will be required to trial satisfactorily before again racing.

Race 3 - GARRRARD'S HORSE & HOUND 1 WIN PACE           1660M

Charlie My Boy (Ricky Gordon)- Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Barroom Blitz (Hayden Barnes)– Hung out badly over the final lap of the event. Given the horse's previous record in this regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Studleigh Patricia (Taleah McMullen)– Broke gait shortly after the start. The filly will be excluded from the barrier draw in future mobile events until Stewards are satisfied it can perform in the desired manner.

Jades Diamond (Shane Graham)– Back from its allocated position at the candy pole. The filly will be placed on its last chance in the draw.

Race 4 - DESIGNLINE PACE    1660M

Georgezilla (Matt Elkins)- Broke gait under pressure approaching the finish of the event. Given the horse's previous good record in this regard the gelding will be placed on its last chance to race truly.

Melton Killara (Nathan Dawson)– Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward initially to the position outside of the leader. Gave ground over the final 400 m.

Jilliby Gizmo (Trent Moffat) - Was caught wide in the early stages before working forward to the position outside of the leader.

Always At Night (Ricky Gordon) - After satisfying QRIC requirements the horse will be placed back in the draw in mobile events.

Race 5 – AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS PACE       1660M

Redbank Molly (Narissa McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Gabbys Ideal (Matt Elkins)– Was examined by the Veterinarian after the trainer raised concerns about the mare’s condition upon arrival at the track. After examination before and after its preliminary the mare was cleared to start.

Race 6 - PRYDE'S EASIFEED UP TO NR70 PACE        1660M

Vanity Bay (Adam Sanderson)– Inconvenienced when caught behind the tiring Golden Sand leaving the 400 m.

Tungsten Terror (Pete McMullen)– Inconvenienced when caught behind the tiring Golden Sand leaving the 400 m.

Golden Sand (Shane Graham)– Raced wide in the early stages before working forward to the position in the lead. Gave ground over the final 600 metres. Shifted in and contacted marker posts near the 300m when under pressure and yielding ground.

Timzee NZ (Taleah McMullen)– Was withdrawn by Stewards on the advice of the Veterinarian after the gelding was found to lame in the near-foreleg after completion of its preliminary. Acting on the Veterinarians advice Timzee was stood down pending a veterinary clearance certificate.

Race 7 – RIO COBRA SULKY PACE    2138M

Mon Bel Ange (Grant Dixon)– Inconvenienced when held up behind the tiring Golden Lace leaving the 300 m.

Prodigal Guinness NZ (Tom Ison)– Shifted out under pressure in the run to the finish.

Motu Cullen NZ (Jonah Hutchinson)

Mister Hart (Phil Chappenden)– Overraced and pulled hard during the event. Raced wide over the final 1000 m.

Ace Lombo (Pete McMullen)– Inconvenienced when held up behind the tiring Golden Lace leaving the 300 m.

Race 8 - SELECTIVE MOTORS ALBION PACE 1660M

CONGO LINE (Matt Elkins)– Inconvenienced when racing wide leaving the 1200 m.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (Leonard Cain) – Driver fined impede Cong Line leaving the 1200 m.

General: Stewards inquired into the reason for Congo Line (Matt Elkins) racing four wide on the turn into the front straight at the 1200 m when racing on the outside of Littlelioneljames (Leonard Cain) and Stoker Ace (Shane Graham). After considering the evidence presented and acting on their own observations it was established that Leonard Cain moved Littlelioneljames out as Congo Line was progressing to his outside however once aware of this situation he attempted to ease his horse back to the one-wide line however Littlelioneljames hung out forcing Congo Line to a four wide position which was then filled by Stoker Ace. Leonard Cain pleaded guilty to the contravention of AHR. 163(1)(b)(ii) for impeding Congo Line at that point and was fined the sum of $200.

Race 9 - KELATO ANIMAL HEALTH UP TO NR70 HEAT 4       1660M

Whata Roller (Taleah McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.

Be My Rock (Narissa McMullen)– Was restrained to the rear of the field after being caught wide in the early stages.
