Race 1 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT BAND 5 PACE 2138M

Jasper (Trista Dixon) – Gate speed, led. Surrendered the lead near the 1700m.

Little Bolt (Andrew Millard) – Gate speed, led one wide line before receiving cover at the 1500m.

Watts Up Sunshine (Rickie Alchin) – Raced three wide early , worked forward to lead near the 1700m.

Despondent (Angus Garrard)  - Three wide early , worked forward to lead the one wide line near the 1500m.

Letterkenny Boy (Mathew Neilson) – Gave ground in the run to the finish.

Artillery (Luke McCarthy) – Raced three wide from the 1200m to race outside the leader at the 1000m.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND DIVIDED OPEN PACE (DIV1)   1660M

Rubies For Tash (Adam Sanderson) - Checked near the 200m.

Scarlet Babe (Shane Graham) –  Led one wide line.

The Honey Queen NZ (Luke McCarthy) – Gate speed, lead. Surrendered the lead near the 1300m. Hung in on the final turn and broke gait losing all chance, The mare was placed on its last chance to race truly.

Deus Ex NZ (Chloe Butler) – Gate speed, worked forward to lead near the 1300m.

Northview Hustler NZ (Hayden Barnes) – Checked near the 200m.

Crunch Time (Nathan Dawson) – Check near the 200m.

Race 3 - THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE MARG REYNOLDS DIVIDED OPEN PACE (DIV2)  1660M

Fond Memories (Grant Dixon) – Gate speed, led. Inconvenienced in the latter stages of the home straight when placed in restricted racing room when Ohoka Chopper  NZ was attempting to improve to its outside.

General: Trainer/ driver G Dixon advised he elected to hold the lead tonight as he felt Rocknroll Icon was not a suitable horse to take a trail on.

Rocknroll Icon (Chris Petroff) – Gate speed, raced outside the leader throughout. The gelding had a tendency to hung in at various stages of the race.

Ohoka Chopper NZ (Ricky Thurlow) – Held up for clear running entering the home straight, before improving into restricted racing room which tightened the racing room of Fond Memorise to its inside. Driver reprimanded.

Race 4 - THUNDER MUPPETS QUALIFYING PACE  1660M

Theresachance (Nathan Dawson) – Gate speed, led. Surrendered the lead near the 1400m. Utilised the sprint lane.

Kashed Up (Luke McCarthy) – Gate speed, led.

Falcons (Ricky Thurlow) – Checked from the 500m behind the tiring Hy Voltage.

Hy Voltage (Pete McMullen) – Raced fiercely and pulled hard from the start, raced outside the leader throughout, resulting in the gelding giving ground from the 500m.

Race 5 - TAB CONSTELLATIONS JULY VETERANS PACE  1660M

Hot Rod Heaven (Matt Elkins – Slow to begin.

Its Mr Clooney NZ(Pete McMullen) – Gate speed, led.

Key Largo (Angus Garrard) – Three wide early, worked forward to lead the one wide line. Gave ground in the run to the finish.

Streitkid (Narissa McMullen) – Over raced and pulled hard, gave ground in the run to the finish.

Race 6 - CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES QUALIFYING PACE  1660M

Soho Almasi (Luke McCarthy) – Gate speed, led. Query. General- Stable representative / driver Luke McCarthy explain that the mare hasn’t raced since April for its previous trainer following a stand down due to race a day treatment  inquiry . Adding it was his preference to trial the mare prior to tonight’s race however due to the delay in racing the mare the owners wanted the mare to race tonight . Advising he was happy with the performance tonight and was only run down on the finish line and would be better for the run.

The Maharani NZ (Chris Geary) - Three wide early, led one wide line before receiving cover from the 900m.

Valkyrie (Narissa McMullen) – Gate speed, restrained to a forward position. Utilized sprint lane.

Clowns To the Left (Shane Graham) – Raced three wide early, obtain the position outside the leader, then restrained quickly, then unsuccessfully attempted to gain a position on the marker pegs before receiving cover at the 1300m. Driver reprimanded for causing a tightening.

Platinum Revolution NZ (Trent Dawson) – Tightened ,contacted a marker peg near the 1300m.

Race 7 - PSP TROTTERS MOBILE  2138M

Sobomba (Matt Elkins) – Gate speed, led.

Justabitnoisy (Leonard Cain) – Three wide early , received cover near the 1700m.

Sir Fahrenheit NZ (Angus Garrard) – Raced three wide early, worked forward to lead the one wide line from the 1500m.

Gee Up Neddy NZ (Hayden Barnes) - Failed to obtain clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested

More Shades Of Gold NZ (Grant Dixon) – Over -raced throughout. Failed to obtain clear running in the home straight and was not fully tested

Race 8 - HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY MARG VETERANS PACE    1660M

Our Bondi Beach (Nathan Dawson) – Led one wide throughout, Over-raced and pulled hard.

Mohs Em Down NZ (Leonard Cain) – Gate speed, led.

Race 9 - CHANGEOVER @ BURWOOD STUD MARES BAND 5 PACE  1660M

Sporty Dancer (Adam Sanderson) – Unable to hold the lead early , re- took the lead from the 1300m.

Which Hunt (Shane Graham) – Gate speed, led. Surrendered the lead at the 1300m.
