Race 1 - 1EQUINE BAND 4 - BAND 2 PACE 1660M
Mafuta Vautin (Adam Sanderson) inclined to hang in at various stages of the race.
Scoob Operator NZ (Trent Dawson) hung in despite the efforts of its driver at the 200 metres and tightened the racing room of Tulhurst Ace which was racing to its inside. A warning was issued to the connections of Scoob Operator NZ and connections were advised to take corrective measures.
Bombadier Jujon (Trista Dixon) failed to gain clear running in the concluding stages and was not fully tested.
Tulhurst Ace (Nathan Dawson) severely checked on the final turn when Scoob Operator NZ hung in and contacted the geldings off side hind leg causing it to gallop and lose valuable ground.
Race 2 – BRETT CARGILL FUNDRAISER BAND 5 PACE 1660M
Parama NZ (Adam Sanderson) failed to gain clear running in the concluding stages and was not fully tested.
Race 3 - BURWOOD STUD BAND 4 - BAND 2 PACE 1660M
Rocknroll Classic (Taleah McMullen) Stewards approved a late driver change from Dannielle Veivers to the Taleah McMullen following an explanation from trainer Ryan Veivers.
Jonah Jones NZ (Trista Dixon) inconvenienced from the 400 metres when held up behind the tiring Commodore Jujon.
Obi One NZ (Chloe Butler) broke early in the score up and had to be exerted by its driver to be in position at the start. Connections were advised that Obi One NZ will be placed on its last chance in the draw.
Race 4 - 1EQUINE TROTTING FEATURE (G3) 2138M
Sugarinspice NZ (Trent Dawson) galloped on entrance to the home straight when being moved out wide to commence a forward move. After considering a good recent record in this regard, connections were advised a warning only would be placed against the mares racing behaviour.
Humble Ladd NZ (Chloe Butler)back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive starts.
General
The driving license of Lachie Manzelmann (Kingdome Come NZ) was suspended for 14 days under AHR rule 156 (2) (a) for engaging the elbow and shoulder when applying the whip in the concluding stages of the race. This suspension will commence on 7 November 2022.
Race 5 – 2022 AQWA CONSTRUCTIONS PEAK OF THE CREEK FINAL (G2) 1660M
Brigadiers Son NZ (Brendan Barnes) inconvenienced in the run to the finish when We Always Have Faith NZ shifted out which resulted in both runners locking sulky wheels momentarily.
Harry Kane NZ (Leonard Cain) inconvenienced at the 1300 metres when trailing Targaryen NZ which was inclined to race roughly.
We Always Have Faith NZ (Grant Dixon) checked on entrance to the home straight and lost ground, momentarily locking sulky wheels with Brigadiers Son NZ which was racing to its outside.
Targaryen NZ (Chloe Butler) raced roughly leaving the 1300 metres and galloped free of interference at the 200 metres losing valuable ground. After considering a recent good record in this regard connections were advised Targaryen NZ will be placed on its last chance to race truly.
General
Trent Dawson (Future Assured) was fined $200 under AHR rule 190B (3) for failing to complete his treatment logbook in accordance with the rules.
Stewards inquired into an incident which occurred on entrance to the front straight in which We Always Have Faith NZ and Brigadiers Son NZ locked wheels momentarily. After taking evidence from the drivers concerned and viewing the incident on the official patrol film, it was established We Always Have Faith was placed in restricted room in an attempt to gain clear running and received some tightening from the outside by Brigadiers Son NZ which was inclined to hang in around the final turn. We Always Have Faith NZ also had a tendency to run away from the off side wheel of Speed Dating which was racing to the inside. Stewards could place no blame on any one horse or driver for the incident and the matter was noted accordingly.
Race 6 - PELICAN WATERS RESORT QUALIFYING PACE 2138M
Soextra (Chloe Butler) raced three wide for the first 600 metres of the race before progressing forward to obtain the lead.
Race 7 – 2022 GARRARDS BE GOOD JOHNNY SPRINT (G3) 1660M
No racing incidents.
Race 8 - 2022 CHANGEOVER QUEEN OF THE CREEK (LISTED) 1660M
Miss Verstappen NZ (Nathan Dawson) failed to gain clear running in the concluding stages and was not fully tested.
Only Once Bitten NZ (Adam Sanderson) held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
Lucky Nutter (Shane Graham) failed to gain clear running in the concluding stages and was not fully tested.
Fairy Tinkabell NZ (Angus Garrard) moved out three wide from the 800 metres to lead the three wide line but failed to run on as expected from the 400 metres and finished in last position beaten 15.4 metres. Driver Angus Garrard stated the mare travelled well throughout the race and when he moved out three wide at the 800 metres Fairy Tinkabell NZ travelled up strongly towards the lead but failed to run on from the commencement of the final turn. Stewards directed a veterinary examination be carried out on the mare which revealed no significant findings.
Race 9 - EMBRACING PACING 3YO PACE 1660M
Uptown Beachgirl (Angus Garrard) raced three wide for the first 500 metres before working forward to obtain the position without cover.
Misty Creek (Lola Weidemann) raced three wide for the first 600 metres before being restrained to a rearward trailing position.
Racy Roxy (Trista Dixon) held up for clear running in the concluding stages. When questioned by Stewards regarding the decision to gain a trail on Tims A Trooper at the 1100 metres, Trista Dixon explained Racy Roxy was first up from an interstate campaign, and when Uptown Beachgirl progressed forward quickly when racing wide on the track, she was of the view that filly would obtain the lead which would have left Racy Roxy without cover, a position which would not have suited the filly when considering the fast pace of the race. Ms Dixon further explained when Magical Maya repelled the challenge of Uptown Beachgirl, she remained in a one out position two back as opposed to the one out one back position. Stewards noted the explanation.

Scene Of Terror (Dean Belford) back in the mobile draw after two successful consecutive starts.
Lovin Miss Dixie (Darren McCall) inclined to pull hard when racing along the marker pegs.
