Race 1:
OVERVIEW: LOCKSLEY CAVALIER (3) is a lightly raced trotter that shows loads of ability and has chased home some high quality trotters in recent starts. Providing he stays out of harm’s way, he looks very hard to beat. SPEEDY COMET (7) is a likely type but still learning his craft. He’s done things wrong at his two starts to date but if he can bring his best manners he can run well. The Grant Forrest trained runners MAJESTIC PHILLY (4) ILLUSORY FEAT (1) JACKIES GIFT (6) MAROON BELLS (4) are trying to work into some good form and manners will determine their final placings. CRESCO CASHFLOW (2) resumes and the race experience from last campaign should have her in good stead and she might run well fresh.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: CEE CEE LOU (3) will find this easier than recent starts and shows ability and does have gate speed with race fitness on his side. Expect a big showing. RED SHORES (7) interesting runner resuming from a long spell. Chased home some high quality 2yo’s last season and has been trialling well leading into this and the stable has been in winning form. A major threat. WATCHING OVER US (6) encouraging run at his race debut and is sure to have improved by that race experience. Must be respected. KALKADOON DREAMING (4) quirky pacer with ability that has been teasing to break through for his maiden win. Don’t dismiss. BETATHANABOUGHTONE (1) first starter that is sure to be well prepared for her first race start. Drawn well and has claims. REASON TO SCREAM (2) LITTLE RAIN CLOUD (5) ICE QUEEN (8) are first four hopes.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: TOBYS SHOUT (4) wasn’t far away at his race debut and will be improved by that performance and should appreciate the front-line draw. Expect a good showing. OKANUI BEACH (8) resumes here but showed very good ability last campaign and has trialled well. Faces a tricky draw but if the breaks come his way, he will be very hard to hold out. BEACH DELIGHT (9) improving type that shows promise and has run well at his three starts to date. Must be respected. SOHO PLAYGIRL (2) good effort last start and showed early speed and should race handy. Can be in this for a long way. First starters ANGELS WATCHING (10) and ZEE HOUTEN (3) are showing ability at the trials and can run well at their race debut. YANKEE CAPTAIN (5) will find this easier than his two race starts to date and can improve. IMPOSTER BOY (6) joins the astute Shane Sanderson stable and showed ability in South Australia. Don’t dismiss. JETTER SON (7) is first up and makes the trip from Leeton and draws poorly. Will need some luck.

OVERVIEW: RONNIE THE HAMMER (5) was first up and was just behind the placegetters and strips fitter for this. Expect a strong showing. IM DUSTEE (3) can be a big improver here and finished off nicely last start. Definite chance. MAJOR MAL (6) faces a big drop-in class and his best form could have him winning this. Must include. LENNY LINCOLN (1) nice effort to win last start and does have gate speed and can race handy. Will get every chance. OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (8) will enjoy a soft trip and has place claims along with DIRECT COMMAND (4) that resumes from a break.

SASSINESS (3) capable mare that will find this easier than last start and can figure in the finish. LOVE WATCH (2) hasn’t been far away and strips fitter for this. Drawn nicely and can run well. SCARED STIFF (7) talented pacer that has been racing well in NSW and can make his presence felt here. ROCKNROLL KISS (6) TIZZY LIZZIE (1) MIKI PINS (5) are amongst the place and first four chances.

OVERVIEW: PARTYTIME (9) quirky trotter that can mix his form but suited by these conditions and looks well placed. Expect a big showing and should prove hard to hold out. LIZZIES SON (6) nice effort first up and strips fitter. Will find this easier than last start and providing he handles his first standing start attempt he’s a big chance. The Bill Milner trained runners TETRA (2) and ASTRO (4) are always in the mix of chances and are racing well. Definite chances. GUNSEN ROSIE (1) can race handy and has claims whilst IVAR (3) SALLY EM (7) TARENTAISE (5) KAMARAN (8) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

JOEYS HANGOVER (3) unplaced last start when breaking up, can race in a forward position and must be respected. TWILIGHT BEACH (8) honest mare that is never far away and has claims. WHERES WOOD WOOD (1) and BERYLS GRIN (7) can’t be dismissed.

ROYAL CADENCE (2) capable mare resuming here and drawn well and would not surprise. MISS HERMES (10) consistent mare that is never far away and can run well here. VICTORTEHINFLICTOR (7) resumes here and does possess a big finish and expect him to be running on strongly late. LUVERBOY (6) LORIMERMAJOR (5) CHOGI (11) are consistent pacers that are never far away and have claims. Both OLLY ODD POTTS (1) and HONEST HARRIETTE (8) have peg draws to enjoy soft trips and are place and first four hopes along with NIVEKALON EAGLE (3) and DOOO DON’T THINK (4).
