RESPECTED horsewoman Jill Neilson is preparing for her busiest night at the races.

Since making her training debut during the 1988/89 season, Neilson has forged a highly-successful career, with 2022 among her best years.

Last May Neilson added another Group Two to her record when Honolulu Lulu captured the Fillies' Silver Salver Final.

The $50,000 Finals - with a separate division for the 'boys' - are South Australia's richest races for the season.

As for her pending trip to the track, Neilson has 12 runners engaged in tomorrow's Globe Derby meeting.

"It's the most I have ever taken to one meeting," Neilson said. "I've had 10 races on the same card before, but this will be my busiest night.

"Skew Whiff would be my best winning chance, but a few others such as Honolulu Lulu and Honeybun can go close."

One of four Neilson entrants in the opening event, Skew Whiff will attempt to stretch her undefeated status to four from barrier seven.

The daughter of Centurion Atm will be driven by star reinswoman Dani Hill.

"She has been a cut above the others so far," Neilson said. "It will be nice if she can get the job done again.

"The rest of my team are in Southern Cross heats, but as there aren't enough two-year-old trotters there is no heat for them, but they do have a Final next week."
