Expensive Ego.

Chariots Of Fire winner Expensive Ego makes his return to Menangle tonight in the Group 3 Nick Robin Free-For-All.

The $831,617 earner has not raced since finishing seventh in the Victoria Cup on October 8 and is readying for the upcoming Inter Dominion.

The horse was scoped and had blood tests following the performance, revealing no abnormalities.

Expensive Ego won his prior start at Menangle on September 17.

The 22-time winner will be driven by Luke McCarthy tonight and is one of two horses trainer Belinda McCarthy has in the feature with her other starter being A Gs White Socks.

McCarthy produced some of her big guns at the trials at Menangle on Wednesday including Spirit Of St Louis and Jilliby Kung Fu that finished one-two in their official hit-out.

Spirit Of St Louis is one of many horses McCarthy has nominated for the Inter Dominion series along with Expensive Ego, Mach Shard and Alta Orlando to name a few.
