Top concession driver Jack Callaghan’s name is missing from tonight’s formguide at Newcastle paving the way his younger brother Tom Callaghan.

The 16-year-old reinsman has five drives booked and is fresh from driving his first winner.

Tom Callaghan has only had 12 drives to date and broke through for his first win last Monday week at Newcastle when successful on the Melanie Elder-trained Man From Braavos.

Meanwhile, his older brother Jack will be at Bendigo, Victoria, tonight competing in heats of the Breeders Crown.

He will team up with fellow Sydney horsemen, Michael Doltoff with Offyarocka Crocker and Cameron Ross and his filly Steno.

Callaghan guided Steno to a third placing in last Saturday night’s NSW Breeders Challenge Final at Menangle.

Callaghan returns to Menangle tomorrow night where he has an engagement in all eight races.
