FRESH from notching a personal highlight at Club Menangle during the weekend, KerryAnn Morris will be back to continue her winning ways at the world class venue today.

New South Wales' leading trainer, Morris went into the meeting needing a double to reach the milestone, which she achieved in the final event of the card.

Thanks to Sunny Gee's victory Morris secured her 1500th training success.

Thrilled with her moment in the spotlight, Morris stated there was little time to bask in the glory as it was work as usual the following morning.

"It was great to get to 1500 and I had a little celebration," Morris said. "It's back to the real world so to speak the next morning when you're up with the horses."

Morris has five runners engaged this afternoon, with each a winning chance.

"We had a couple more in the meeting but had to scratch them," Morris said. "Nothing major, but enough to prevent them from racing."

Among "Morris' Mob" is Killara Shogun which has been the bridesmaid during his two starts.

Listed as a $1.90 favourite, the three-year-old has drawn the outside of the front row against older rivals due to his ODM status.

Also finishing second during his past two outings, Highview Sadler is considered the main danger from barrier seven.

Trained by Leon Jurd, Highview Sadler is the second elect at $4.50

Elsewhere on the program Mahomes will attempt to maintain his perfect start to the season from a wide draw.

Prepared by Peter Russo, Mahomes is undefeated from four starts and will search for his fifth win from barrier 10.
